Moving is STRESSFUL!!! Right now, I am up to my a** in (packing) alligators related to an impending move. I looked online for tape alternatives because the tape for sale at UHaul (yes, I decided to pack it all myself - what was I thinking?) is ridiculously expensive. I found this tape and some of the reviews were great. Let me tell you, I dont get the less than stellar reviews. This tape is great! It is strong, does NOT bunch up and most important, never slips from the end of the tape roller. Yep, theres a time-killer and a frustration-builder: trying to find the end of a roll of packing tape, while creating little splits in the tape as one picks trying to get the tape end going again. This tape is far superior than the tape I was using and makes my Herculean job more bearable. Let me tell you, when moving ANYTHING which facilitates is worth its weight in gold! And, this tape was so less expensive than many others I found on here. This stuff is the way to go!

This is a great deal. Get yourself a desktop tape dispenser and youll be good to go! The tape is kind of heavy, could push you over weight on packages so use sparingly. Ive had to take some off of a package because I was a couple ounces overweight. It sticks very well in my opinion. Cant beat the price.

This is really good tape. It has great adhesive properties. It is strong and doesnt tear easily like other brands of tape I have tried. However, it has a very strong smell to it. I purchased a 12-pack. The first day I used a roll, the smell was so annoying that I had to take breaks from using it. I took all the rolls out of the package and set them in an area to air out. By the 4th and 5th days of using the tape, the smell wasnt as strong, but it still had a smell. This is very good packaging tape, and I will continue to purchase and use this tape, but I will continue to air out the tape for a couple of days before using it.

Very pleased and relieved the tape is crystal clear and not yellow. Im a Scotch Heavy Duty fan but hate the price tag. Tape King 3.2 is an excellent alternative! Im halfway through the 12 roll package and the strength and quality is superb. I ship fragile but heavy ceramics/glass and need a product I can depend on. Prior to Tape King, I was in a bind and using low quality dollar store tape. I used approximately triple the amount. More than half went to waste with the tape sticking back on itself, then splintering when trying to retrieve the cut edge. Tape King doesnt do any of that. It also stays put (cardboard and poly mailers) and saves me time and money. Its great!

I bought Tape King & HP260 to compare them. While the HP260 was a little bit stickier, Tape Kings cheaper tape was wider at 2 and was almost as sticky. Just make sure to press it hard against the box. Also, I was surprised at how well it taped in the 10 degree temperatures I was working in. I pack dozens of boxes every week for my business, and am planning on ordering more of Tape Kings product. Also, it is very thick, strong tape (3.2 mil), so I assume some of the other reviews must be fake.

There are better tapes out there after two or three rolls it gummed up the cutting blade and I had to clean it with rubbing alcohol. Not the worst tape Ive ever used but by far not the best tape.

Although this is good quality tape, the chemical smell bothers me so much that I cannot buy this brand.

The tape is strong and good adhesive. I’m very satisfied with my purchase.

If you’re looking for something as good as the name brand stuff, this is it. It costs less, but this is as thick as the good stuff (other genetics are made from thinner tape), and the adhesive is identically strong. No splitting or tearing; it peels smoothly and holds well.
