This is the second time I purchased this. First time the smell was awesome. Second time, the smell was unpleasant. Anythig like the first time. I dont know if the formula was changed. I dont think Ill purchase it again.

My boyfriend has sensitive skin and he loves this cream. After using it and a wet razor he has hardly any razor burn. It has a lovely light clean smell too.

This shaving cream has an understated clean scent and works up a great lather if you use a high quality brush with good loft. Its on the spendy side, but very little is needed (think a blob the size of a peanut M&M) to get a good lather. Also, it isnt over-scented like their Sandalwood shaving cream. That works well, but it clashed with my Old Spice aftershave, and it took weeks to get the smell out of my shaving brush.

I bought this for my fiance along with a straight razor a couple years ago, and its his favorite thing. The lather is great, and the scent is pleasantly masculine, without being overpowering. I would describe it as a manly fresh smell. Not floral. Fiance has a full beard, so hes just cleaning up the sides. One tub lasted him about a year, but he was using too much at first. Id say if you shave twice a week itll last you about 15 months. Not too shabby!

This is a great shaving cream. Its smooth texture, and smell is something I look forward to in the morning. It feels quite soothing in my face when shaving. There are other fragrances available by Taylors of Bond Street.
