Taylor of Old Bond Street Jermyn Street Luxury Shaving Cream for Sensitive Skin, 5.3-Ounce 01014

The only difference between this and the regular shaving creams made by Taylor of Old Bond Street seems to be the smell. I have sensitive skin and this didnt have much of an effect on reducincing razor burn.

Smelled great but shaving cream is not supposed to be a solid!!!

Love this brand but this one is really great. Great fresh clean smell and very soothing to the skin. Makes a very thick lather very quick.

Now this is a really good shaving cream. Makes a great lather, feels luxurious on the face, and results in a very good shave using a double edge razor. This is one of my favorite scents, and Taylor of Old Bond Street is consistently my favorite brand. An important point for me: like most wet shaving products, there are two benefits to this product. First, it makes the skin feel better. Reduces nicks and razor burns and leaves a nice tone to the skin. It is also cost effective. For the price of this shaving cream I could have purchased 4 cans of aerosol shaving cream. But I would have used up the cans when I was half-way through this bowl. And the cans are murder on skin.

Just like the other Taylor of Old Bond Street products that I have used, the quality of the ingredients is evident. A small amount whips up into a rich, creamy lather and is enough for a three pass (3x) wet shave. The razor glides over the lubricated hairs allowing for an incredibly smooth shave. The aroma is fantastic!

Brilliant cream! The scent isnt too heavy and lathers well. Exactly the quality one comes to expect from Taylor of Old Bond Street. The tub is a decent size and should last for awhile depending on how much you use in your routine. However, keep in mind that a dab will do you. Unless youre used to using creams, itll take a few uses before you can achieve that perfect lather.

Honestly. Terrible. Smells feminine. Not as slick as their other creams. Almost not a cream. It’s very hard. I don’t know if it’s dried out or what. My cedar and grape fruit are very creamy. The sandalwood I had was a little on the hard side but was still slick. Not sure if quality control stock or just different scents. Very disappointed.

Simply the best product I have ever used.

i bought this because i assumed (wrongly) it would be unscented, or at least not have a strong scent. it does have a fairly strong perfumey scent. while not unpleasant (and apparently safe for me, which means it doesnt trigger migraines) i would have preferred it if it were completely unscented. as far as how it does as a shaving cream, it seems just fine. my husband seems to like it. time will tell how it performs on his skin. hes only shaved a few times with it and he doesnt notice any particular difference between this and the jar of ToOBS (Pink Grapefruit) he had before, but its early days yet. UPDATE a few months on: the scent remains and is so strong that its bothering my HUSBAND, who is not normally sensitive to scent. as for me, whenever he shaves, i get a migraine from the lingering scent. he has to scrub his face very hard to keep this from happening. were tossing this jar and going back to the grapefruit scent. that was lovely and never caused a problem for either of us.
