> 24 hourWhen remodeling my house I found a beautiful metallic brown paint from Home Depotfor my living room accent wall. But the specialized roller would leave a least one streak.I went through several gallons of paint to get it right. Home Depot advised me to try using a HVLP sprayer. So I went to Harbor Freight to save some money and bought a Hvlp spayer and that didnt come out looking right. I was thena dvised to rent a commercial sprayer. Well that $120 afternoon rental made the job very quicik n easy but gave the same look as the Harbor Freight Hvlp sprayer gave. I was about to give up but I was checking out Professional Sprayers for Automotive painters and then learned about larger diameter sprayers for metal flake. Those sprayers cost hundreds of dollars and lve spent way to much money already for just one 20 foot living room wall. So I looked on the internet for the lowest priced large diameter metal flake sprayer and found this one Amazon. Well low and behold it work marvelously. It worked so good that sprayed on 3 coats of clear coat on top of it for easy washing and also because they discontinued the paint due to its difficult usability 10 years later the wall is still looks as good ever and it continues to get complements from most of the my visitors who see it. Ive painted many more wall with it over the years. You can purchase different diameters but I only needed the one came with. It lays down non- metallic paint thick enough for 1 and done coats with out running. Its a great bargain and will purchase again because I lost the screw adjustment being to hasty cleaning and transporting. Thats the only problem I ever had with it.

> 24 hourI’m using this gun to spray PPG VP2050 high build epoxy primer. It atomizes well, and lays down a nice even coat with a 1.8 tip. Used it to paint a 1979 MGB. If you have job like this in mind this gun and regulator will do a nice job.

> 24 hourThis gun is about the best for the money spray gun for primer. It shoots the heavy fill primer just like the more expensive guns, just dont use the plastic filter they supply with it. always use a paint strainer when filling your spray gun. It leaked a little around where the cup attached to the gun, but I took care of that with a little teflon tape. It surprised me how well it worked and it cleaned up nicely for the next time I need it. I think someone mentioned that they used it as a throw away, this gun works just fine over and over as long as you clean it properly, even an $800.00 spray gun is useless unless you clean it well. If you hold the cup when installing and removing the cap you wont put stress on the connection, I always do this even with my expensive gun. I wasnt expecting a lot because of the price, but with a little preparing and proper maintenance there is nothing wrong with this gun for primer or latex and any of your heavier paint, I wouldnt paint a car with it, unless it was metal flake as mentioned in the ad, but I still would get a better gun for any paint finish.

> 24 hourI bought this along with a 2.5 of the same model to spray Autobody polyester primer. Both guns work amazing! I also build and finish cabinets and other woodworking projects, spraying nitrocellulose lacquer. Just for fun I thought I would try these on some cabinets I was spraying the other day. They worked amazing! For the price you cannot go wrong. I read a review on these guns where the guy writes, stated that he just throws the guns away when hes done spraying. That is insane!!! I dont care how cheap it is, we have to think about the wonderful workers that build these guns, putting their pride of quality into assembly and final testing. Throwing this gun away is downright disrespectful, especially when it cleans up so easily. Ive sprayed multiple gallons through these guns while my Iwata guns and Sata guns are hanging on the gun hangers. I continue to use these even though they are a fraction of the cost of my regular paint guns. Its fun to see how well they spray job after job, making me more and more money, all the while thinking about the dude that thought it was cool just to throw it away after one job.....insane! Buy it, care for it by taking apart to clean it, only takes about 5 minutes to do a good cleaning. You will not be sorry and youll still be using it next year holding a bunch of extra cash in your pocket. Note: make sure to purchase the proper fluid tip and needle size for the product that you will be spraying. I bought the 2.0 and the 2.5 because I originally purchased these for polyester primer. The 2.0 works great for nitrocellulose lacquer but if I tried to paint a car with this setup, would not be a good thing. If you need a beginner gun to shoot automotive base-coat and clear coat, buy the 1.3 tip size for your starter gun. Turn the volume screw all the way in, back it out about 2-3 turns, open the fan pattern screw all the way out until the fan is at its widest pattern. Now turn it in just a little bit, while spraying cleaning solvent through it so you can watch the pattern, turning the fan knob in until you see it just start to narrow, this is where you want your fan pattern for normal spraying. Now go practice on an old fender or something like that. Keep the gun cap about 6 inches off the panel, use a 70% overlap of the fan pattern while adjusting your speed of movement to compensate for the amount of flow coming out of the tip and the amount of overlap youre using. If you feel youre not getting enough paint or clear coming out of the gun, open the fluid knob a 1/4 turn at a time until you get the volume where it works best for you. Remember, if the gun is too far off the panel, you will never succeed. The tips for success is: close in,(about 6 inches), tight overlap, (about 70%), adjust the speed of movement to achieve the finish youre looking for. Practice, Practice, Practice! Before you know it, even with this inexpensive spray gun, you can be laying down a finish to be proud of. Have fun!

> 24 hourFirst thing you have to clean the gun completely. It does come with what I assume is shipping oil. The gun sprayed primer great. Biggest problem with this gun was it leaked at the base of the cup where it fastens to the gun body. I took it apart and put an o-ring in it and tightened it back up. Hasnt leaked since. Ive used this gun about 6 times so far spraying 2K primer and it lays it down nice.

> 24 hourI had great hopes for this and have given it every chance to succeed. First, clean gun and parts, it had machining particles in it, looks like brass. Followed instructions completely. Intended use was for primer and paint on cabinets. Note, I also bought the 2.0 mm and 2.5 mm tips for greater flexibility with materials. The 1.4 mm tip will not even spray water or paint wash cleaner. The 2.0 mm was useless also. With the 2.5 mm I did get some spray with half water and half primer, but at that mix rate the primer is ruined and will not perform for coverage or longevity. Air power is not a problem, I have plenty with a 3HP pump keeping the tank at 125 psi with 7.7 SCFM. Used the air regulator to control pressure as directed with BAR set at all steps from 2.0 to 4.0. With the 2.5 mm tip, half water and primer at 3.5 BAR, I did spray a 2x4 panel in 5 minutes with a light coverage. Pattern is either a spot or fog where nothing hits the surface. I have to question the authenticity of the positive reviews. Primers used were brand names K and S-W, you know the names. Neither will work with 50% water. With 3 adjustments on the gun, you would think some setting would work as described, not so. I also filtered the paint with the TCP 190 filter into the paint cup. Tried the gun with the little internal filter in place and with it removed just to get it to work, no good. Returning to Amazon, sorry Amazon, but this is just not an acceptable product.

> 24 hourProper case of get what you pay for. Not a bad gun would be ok out of the box for small home projects. Out of the box there was a fair amount of casting/machining roughness in the air cap and around the fluid tip, and the way the air cap centered over the fluid tip when tightened down gave a kidney bean shaped spray pattern. I used sharpened drill bits by hand to smooth the edges around the air and fluid tips and fine sandpaper, got the holes round and the tolerances better, the spray pattern is more even now, sprays too heavy with the product dial open all the way so I put it in one full turn. This brought the pattern to an acceptable size and shape while still putting enough product out (waterbase automotive paint) All in all for the price it’s fine for a DIY

> 24 hourThis thing came dialed in and awesome.. much better than the $20 harbor gun just sayin. Used the 2.0 tip, did some primer and looks much smoother consistent coats

> 24 hourPerfect for an all around gun. Sprays base and clear perfectly. Ive done two all over paint jobs with it recently and a few spot in jobs. Works phenomenal!
