> 24 hourDrive was easy to put in my PC. However, it was not partitioned. Meaning even though the BIOS and Windows knew it was there, I couldnt store anything on it. So after much troubleshooting, given the package had no instructions and no warranty info, I found the partition issue. After partitioning the drive, its been working great! Quality product, bad presentation...

> 24 hourI bought the 2 tb mp34 - that’s the gen 3 drive *with* DRAM - for mass storage because my original 512 gig drive was filling up and due to the high rated endurance. at 60 dollars per terabyte on sale, this drive performs similarly to my much more expensive OEM xpg sx8200 pro boot drive (although it’s nearly full so performance may be affected). that’s a lot of both performance and capacity for a budget, although it may be worth looking around (e.g. pcpartpicker) for a promotional price. i can’t speak to the endurance or warranty because i’ve only used it for a week, but those claims are nice.

> 24 hourThey are really fast and they do seem to last! Load my games instantly. Good value too!

> 24 hourThis drive is being used as storage on an older system with a SATA SSD as its boot drive, so speed should not be a problem.

> 24 hourI purchased the 4TB product, TeamGroup TM8FP4004T (TM8FP4004T0C101). Team, like ADATA and XPG, have become notorious for changing out controllers and NAND modules. First off, the good news. It *IS* confirmed to be Hynix 128-layer, 3-bit TLC, not 4-bit QLC. (32) Hynix 3dv6-128L TLC 16k 1024Gb/CE 1024Gb/die Bad news? Its the hard to find info about RealTek RL6447 PCIe 3.0 x4 controller. It does *NOT* seem to have embedded DRAM on-die, unlike other controllers. E.g.,here is what rtl_nvme_flash_id gave me ... v0.15a OS: 10.0 build 19045 Drive : 0(NVME) Scsi : 0 Driver : W10 Model : TEAM TM8FP4004T Fw : VB421D65 HMB : 65536 - 65536 KB (Enabled, 64 M) Size : 3907018 MB [4096.8 GB] LBA Size: 512 Fw Str : [REALTEK_RL6447 _p_tH3V6V] [] Yes, this is Host Memory Buffer (HMB) ... DRAM-*less*. The Amazon listing explicitly stated: TEAMGROUP MP34 4TB with DRAM SLC Cache 3D NAND TLC NVMe 1.3 PCIe Gen3x4 M.2 2280 Note the DRAM SLC 3D NAND which pretty much FALSELY ADVERTISES DRAM.

> 24 hourI wanted extra storage capacity for my work laptop, and swapped out the 256GB NVME that was there for this, and now my laptop takes about 3 minutes to boot. Nothing against this drive, Im sure as a secondary drive this is fine, but do not buy this as your boot drive. Im going to have to go back to one of those 256GB ones.
