I recently upgraded my Internet service to fiber. The speed to the router increased tremendously but that was it! I found that both my desktop and my laptop couldnt receive more than between 6 and 30 MB/s because of old hardware limitations - the network adapters are limited to 100/10. Here I am paying for 200 MB/s but cant enjoy the increase. This new network adapter is 1,000/100/10 when plugged into a USB 3.0 connection. Well worth the investment not only for the speed but also because this product has three (3) USB expansion slots on it and the 6 inch cable makes getting to the slots much more convenient to use. A well built heavy duty product and a great 18 month warranty!

Work out of the box - plug & play. Works well for laptops with no RJ45 port and limited USB ports.

Great little device. Very glad I bought it. There were a few others that were slightly cheaper... Im glad I bought this one. Feels like good quality and so far is functioning beautifully.

I needed this for my HP laptop to connect the ethernet cable for a more stable internet connection. The ethernet connection works decently. However, my logitech wireless keyboard and mouse kept lagging when I had plugged in the usb receiver into one of the three ports. The keyboard was really bad. The letters would show up multiple seconds later and when I would delete, that would lag by multiple seconds. I had to plug in the logitech usb receiver into my laptop directly. Thankfully mine has two usb ports. So I will be using one for the ethernet connection and the other for usb ports.

This provides easy ethernet connection for my MacBook pro.

Considering what I paid for it, i was expecting this USB hub to have a lower build quality, but i was pleasantly surprised by its quality. the ports dont stick and do not have hangups when inserting cable heads. the piece feels solid, like it could be carried around in a backpack or other rougher conditions and not faulter. it working without need of drivers or other modifications to systems. I bought this to get a wired internet connection and some spare USB ports for my cellphone dock when Im at my desk, worked immediately with my phone and dock. I would highly recommend this USB Hub/ Ethernet adapter if you were looking to add an Ethernet port to any device.

This is well made. The construction is durable. I didnt notice any reduction in speed using all 3 USB ports at once. The biggest bonus I found to this is the Ethernet hub. I used this today to image a Lenovo X1 Carbon from a image server with no Ethernet port. This makes this a very versatile tool to have in your IT tool collection. Thank you again TeckNet!
