12-06-2025The idea of this product is great. However, there must be a short in the wire for the adapter from ethernet cable to usb. That feature only worked for the first couple of times I used it. Then it worked on and off for about a month. Now it does not work at all. Great idea, but disappointing performance. 3/24 - added one star for excellent customer service that reached out to solve the issue. This is a good company to work with.

> 3 dayReally glad that I found this. When shopping for a new laptop these days, having one of these makes it much easier to decide on the brand/model you like. I hadn’t looked at new laptops for years, and was disappointed to see how many of them now are cutting out all the things I used to assume to be included with a laptop. Now, many models have eliminated an Ethernet port, and of course the cd/dvd reader is harder to find. At least with discs, I already had an external disc player, but when I found a laptop that I was ready to decide on buying, I noticed there was no way to plug in Ethernet. After almost deciding to just forget about that model I was about to purchase, I decided to search to see if these adapters were available. I’m so glad I found this one, it’s built solidly, and works fine. You will probably have to look at your computers ‘settings’ to make sure that the computer is recognizing the device properly.

Greater than one weekAll three USB ports dont work simultaneously. Only 2 work at a time.

> 3 dayAfter my computer wakes up from sleep, about 3/4 of the time the ethernet functionality stops working and I have to unplug the device and plug it back in. This is very annoying. Otherwise it works fine.
