> 3 dayCould not get it to connect. Have an Amazon smart plug and it was not an issue to set that plug up. I guess this one is cheap.

Greater than one weekI’m pretty good with Alexa and Apple setups, but even this one gave me a run for my money! all was good after a few high pressure moments and now plugs works perfectly with my Alexa dots. I have 10+ plugs in my house, all diff companies.., so I understand pains of setups. Instructions are printed in 5pt font, no joke. I must have squinted for 2min trying to read them. QR code on tiny paper went to android download page - I have an Apple ecosystem at home. No worries, I overcame. Some tips and steps! Remember, the reason these plugs are cheap and Amazon plug is usually 20+ bucks is because Amazon plug works the moment you plug it in and these you need to go through a bunch of steps to have them work. Steps: 1. Plug in first WiFi plug 2. Open Apple device like phone or ipad, Download Tenda Beli app 3. In app, register, login, get email and confirm account 4. Now using this app, switch to WiFi of new plug, discover it, name it and add it to your app Now... you are half way there... 5. Open your Alexa app, go to skills, search for Tenda Beli, download and login - here is where I hit a snag. This app is rated 1 star In Alexa store because It seems peeps can’t login. Make sure your email is all lower case. Apple loves to uppercase first letter. Once you are logged in. Follow prompts, device will be discovered. Without step 5 you will not discover this plug. 6. Add device to your Fav group, test to make sure it responds to your voice... that’s it! After I installed Tenda Beli Alexa skill and logged in, it automatically identified every other plug after first one that I discovered with the app. Super easy! My review for Tenda WiFi Smart Plugs Work with Alexa Echo & Google Home, 10A Smart Wi-Fi Plug Mini Outlet Socket Works with Beli App - 4 Pack!

Greater than one weekThis is the first time that I tried a smart plug. I was holding off for the longest time but since we have travelling a lot, I find the necessity to start automating lights and appliances while away to simulate hoe occupancy. For a first time user this unit is a match made in heaven. I downloaded the Tenda Beli APP, plug in the device, follow the on screen instruction, voila...I can now control the outlet from anywhere in the world with internet access. I am well satisfied to say the least. Very affordable and good value for the benefits you get from it. Icould not comment on Echo or Alexa integration because I dont have either. But for me, it is a great product by itself.

Greater than one weekYou have to download the Tenda app. Theres no getting around that. Once the plug is synced and you have the steady blue light, you can take the plug, put it in whatever outlet you want...like its ready to go. I wanted the plug to control a floor lamp, and for Alexa to control IT. I needed to download the Alexa app too, which Id had previously, but disabled because it conflicted with my car Bluetooth and gym app. So I re-downloaded the Alexa app, and followed the Alexa app instructions to tell it to communicate with the Tenda app/plug. Once the two apps were communicating, I told Alexa to make a command to run BOTH smart plugs and floor lamps: Alexa, turn on the lights. (Id already had a smart plug/lamp setup from before, so I was basically adding a second plug/lamp setup.) So now when I say, Alexa, turn on the lights, she turns on both smart plugs which turns on both lights. When I got that working, I just went ahead and uninstalled the Tenda app and Alexa app again. Retested the lamp command (for both on and off) and bingo, both lamps come on and off with no issues. So its proof that you DONT need the Tenda or Alexa app once youve got your plugs synced. Id be sitting in the dark if this wasnt true!

> 3 dayWorked when we first got it. Difficult to sync, but finally worked. But now, after dropping the signal, unable to sync it again. Followed the instructions in resetting the plug. Still, would not sync. I have several other smart plugs from other companies that have worked beautifully. Not so with this one. Suggest buying from a different dealer as this one is a dud.
