Texas Instruments TI-1795 SV Standard Function Calculator

I love this calculator. I keep it at my desk & no longer crammed for space.

I have one at work but since working at home I miss it. I use it several times a day and it’s my favorite. Buttons are easy to use and don’t get stuck like other versions.

Nice product. The calculator sits flush while the LCD is easy to read. The numbers are large for us old timers. The only downfall would be the price; it should be in the vicinity of $8-10. Now that I have helped out future buyers I think Amazon should send me a small kickback for taking the time to write this...

This is a fine calculator in all respects. The large-digit tilted display and large keys are great, and it performs the calculations perfectly .... until you get to large numbers. It does not have the capability to display a number of more than eight digits, and if several of them are added together, it simply truncates anything beyond eight digits. e.g. - if you try to add 1,234.56789 and 1,234.56789, you will get an answer of 2,469.1356. The correct answer is 2,469.13578, or rounded to the 4th decimal it becomes 2,469.1358. If it werent for this little detail, I would have given it 5 stars, but I will probably buy another calculator that will perform 10-digit calculations, or will at least round the answers correctly. I will probably keep this one around for use in the kitchen, or some place where large numbers are not an issue.

Just a simple calculator and works fine. Looks nice and no batteries to worry about They need more words but not much to say now other than works as should

I had one for many years and it stopped working. This is my go to calculator because the keys are large and it is very stable. It does everything I need it to do in normal money matters. I love it.

The numbers are large and easy to read. The key pad is also large enough that there is plenty of room between the keys which prevents hitting more than one at a time.

First used one at my place of work, it worked great took all the abuse every one gave it, i have three now, two at home and one at my wifes flower shop.

I like this calculator because it is simple to use and dependable. This is the third one Ive purchased because I keep one in different rooms of the house. I especially like the larger numbers which are easier to read.

My mom has had this specific calculator for years so I finally got me one for my own bills. It’s solar powered so you don’t have to waste or deal with batteries either. It’s supposed to be for students but it’s better than an average calculator when you’re working with percentages.
