> 3 dayI like that when this calculator reduces fractions it puts them in the same form that they were inputted. For example, if you put in 21/6 and hit enter, it puts 7/2, not 3 1/2 like some calculators do. You can then use another button if you need the mixed number instead of the improper fraction.

> 3 dayCheap and cheerful calculator thats simply blown my mind. Easy to use (lots of youtube vids available) and cheap. Purchased for a single degree class, to convert fractions to decimal etc. Will pass it on to a younger family member to use at elementary school.

> 3 dayI wanted a calculator with buttons that provide good tactile feedback, so I dont have to look at the display to know whether or not the numbers entered are the numbers I intended to enter. And I wanted a calculator that would show me not only the last number entered, but also the earlier numbers in the computation. And I wanted a calculator that would make it easy to raise a number to a power. And I wanted a calculator that would run from ambient lighting, so I dont have to replace the batteries so often. This calculator gave me everything I wanted. It is the first inexpensive calculator I have had that has buttons that feel good when I push them. It is easy to accurately enter the numbers you intend to enter. The display allows you to scroll through something like 40 lines worth of prior problems and data entered. To raise a number to a power -- something I do frequently -- only one button needs to be pushed between the number and the exponent; it is not necessary to push a shift key to access this function. Beautiful! I am purchasing another one of these calculators. They are a fantastic bargain, and I want to have one at home and at work. Incidentally, the calculator also comes with a plastic cover that provides excellent protection for the buttons and the display when the calculator is bouncing around inside your briefcase.

> 3 dayI am an actuarial analyst and essentially do math full time. I originally got this calculator because it is one of the few that the Society of Actuaries allows in their exams. I tend to develop somewhat unreasonable attachments to my varying calculators, and Ive never loved one as much as this (though I have to shout out my sturdy old TI-84+). It doesnt graph or do much in the way of calculus, but in my experience youll never need to use a calculator like that outside of a high school math setting. Most college classes dont allow graphing calculators, and no standardized exam Ive ever known does either. In my job I always have access to a computer and various programs that can graph and such for me. This baby has a very user friendly display and is easy to learn to use. The fact that you can scroll through old entries puts it light years ahead of comparable TI scientific calculators. Its small and lightweight unlike graphing calculators, and its easy on the eyes as well. I dont know how I ever lived without a fraction button on a calculator. In short Ive had this bad boy for a few years and its still kickin. In fact, I plan on getting another one so I can leave one at work and still have access to one at home (because I have 3 or 4 other calculators, but using any other makes me frustrated and I wistfully wish I had my TI-30XS Multiview).

> 3 dayWas studying for the teaching ETS PRAXIS math exams .. this model is EXACTLY what they’ve cloned onscreen for the test..so this was mail exactly what I needed; way beyond helpful to hold it in hand and practice learning all the calculator functions needed to get through the test quickly by knowing where they’re located..
