Texas Instruments TI-84 Plus CE Color Graphing Calculator, Black 7.5 Inch

I got this calculator for a math 140 class and it works great. The quality is really good, and it comes with a charger and the plastic case. I got mine in the color white and I love it.

Bought this for my son in high school. Algebra II and Honours Chemistry. He uses it daily and says its super easy to use.

This is a really solid graphing calculator and it is very similar to the original Ti-84 making it easy to follow in class if the teacher provides the older models. Unlike the older models it has an obvious color screen, a connector which can easily connect to a PC for programs and charging, and is leagues thinner. If you dont want to be hoping to be in the right conditions to read the original, get this one.

Im at a disadvantage because I never used this calculator in high school and the learning curve is moderate. There are plenty of resources to help you learn how to navigate if you have time. Im impressed with the functionality I have picked up. Graphing functions, converting decimals to fractions, simplifying complex equations and simple arithmetic. I feel like Ive just scratched the surface. The calculator itself is sleek and has a decent screen. You can tell by the resolution and processing that this model is old. It has some quirks as well. But for a graphing calculator thats ACT compliant, Im happy. Its age means there is tons of support and lessons out there. After testing, I would definitely sell this and get an NSpire CXII-CAS calculator. Thats a far superior calculator with algebra functionality, modernized specifications and similar in price. But I knew this would do for the time being and Ive used MUCH worse so Im happy with my purchase.

Works very well for graphing, chemistry, etc. You can do just about anything on it.

Sweet little calculator, exceeds expectations. I just wish it were USB-C charging instead of Micro USB
