It really moisturizes the skin

I read most of the reviews before purchasing. I have very sensitive skin that is dry. some of the reviews said this can be drying so I was cognizant that I needed to use a light moisturizer after using this. I have been using this for approximately one week. I wash my face to remove my makeup at the end of the day, then I follow with Thayers Rose Petal Witch Hazel. I apply a light moisturizer (I have dry skin to start with) and my face looks fantastic. The texture and feel of my skin has truly never been better. I just ordered two more bottles (one to give my daughter and one to keep to ensure that I am never without)

Great for removing makeup and as a toner. My face feels super clean after this and its great for firming skin and shrinking pores. I have very oily skin and chemical facial cleaners and toners are too harsh and more expensive. The smell is light and nice :) I use it daily and no other face wash except an exfoliating scrub a couple times a week and it keeps my complexion clear and even.

I have been using this product as an toner several times daily for over two weeks, and it is very refreshing and gentle on the skin. I gave this a try to replace the witch hazel I had been using, which was 14% alcohol by volume. Though I would prefer that it be scent-free, the rose smell is very, very mild. I have combination skin where my nose and chin area are very oily, and the rest of my face is not. Since there is no alcohol in this toner it is non-drying to my skin. I actually ordered this twice within a short period. In the first shipment I gave a family member the second bottle, and, not wanting to risk running out myself, I placed a second order within a week of the first. Both orders were delivered quickly, and I will continue to purchase it in the future.

This stuff is great for calming skin irritations. I put it on a cotton ball and swab my face and neck after a shower. I also put some in a spray bottle and spray it on so I can cover a larger area. I have had several precancerous lesions on my face, ears, and neck - this witch hazel has helped to heal the smaller ones. It smells great. The aloe helps with my dry skin. My senior dog passed away a few months ago. Before he died he wore cotton diapers due to incontinence. His groin area was getting urine burns. Thats what I originally got this witch hazel for. By the time he died, the urine burns were almost completely healed from me applying this product to the burned area on a daily basis. Then I just kept using it on myself...

I have been using Thayers Rose Petal with Aloe twice daily for more than 20 years. It gets the last traces of makeup off, smells good, and leaves skin feeling clean and moist (does not dry my skin). I wont use anything else. Its an integral part of my morning and evening cleansing routine. Love it!!!

I like this stuff fine, but unfortunately its not the miracle for me that it seems to be for other people. It helps get any extra makeup off my face and tones without the uncomfortable tightening/drying you get from toners with alcohol. The smell is nice as well, and I feel like my oil is more under control since I started using it (I am on my second bottle). However, I had breakouts when I started using it, and still definitely do. I even tried adding some lavender and tea tree essential oil to a bottle, but it didnt seem to help and masked the rose smell I enjoy. Not a miracle cure for acne for me Im afraid! I will keep looking.
