> 3 dayI can say that because I’m a moron when it comes to home projects like cutting a huge hole in your door. After buying a jigsaw, taking a couple of nerve pills - it was easier than I expected with the stencil already in place. Within 10 minutes the door was done. Would highly recommend even if you are on the fence.

Greater than one weekThis product has already served its purpose - I have had to open doors for my cats far less frequently than I did before. And it has looked good doing it, but since there are many other competing products at lower price points when I decided to get a second cat door I went with one of those. The materials for this door, are fine but not as premium as I would have expected for the price, the wood is pretty light and flimsy feeling and you will definitely need to screw it into the door if there is going to be any sort of wear and tear on it. The included tape kept it up for about a day, and then it had to be screwed in on both sides. All that said if price isnt your main concern, you have the equipment to properly secure the door, and you like the way it looks then this is a good buy. Otherwise Id expect youll get a similar level of satisfaction from another product for less money.

> 3 daySuper cute for our kitty closet! We converted a storage closet under our stairs into a kitty room to house the litter box etc. we needed to find a way to keep the door closed but give them access to their room. This was the perfect solution for those slightly handy. Adhesive could’ve been a little stronger but we used extra adhesive glue just in case. I wish the plastic had been just a little sturdier but so far so good. Our kitties took right to the new room & they had no issue using their new door. And it looks adorable!

Greater than one weekI’ve been looking for a solution for my cat to access our laundry room for 9 months. Our hallway is narrow and whomever remodeled the house before us unwisely installed a hinged door rather than a pocket door. So to use the hall the door must either be fully open or fully closed. Well obviously we had to leave it open for the cat. Was going nuts listening to my washer’s spin cycle so I started researching how I was going to convert this door to a pocket door. Two things: that is pretty expensive and while I am very handy, above my home improvement skill level. So I did what I always do when I can’t solve a problem, I turned to my old friend google and voila! This Kitty Pass came up. I was like, wait, what? How much? This must be too good to be true! I ordered this puppy up with a highly skeptical outlook. I was happily surprised at how simple the install was. Took the door ff the hinges, traced the pattern and used my jig saw to cut it out. Sanded the edges and installed the Kitty Pass. Then rehung the door. Total labor time was 30 minutes (including gathering tools and setting up saw horses). Cat walked through it almost immediately. Very happy with this purchase and would recommend to anyone. Side note: I was worried about installing this on my hollow core door but it was not a problem at all!

> 3 dayI have a small extra bedroom that is a dedicated litter room, which is great except that I had to leave the door cracked all the time to allow my five cats access and it was so annoying. Not to mention, these little stinkers could sometimes close the door on each other, and thats just bad news! So I decided to put this cat door in and it was a great choice! My boyfriend installed it so I cant say how easy that was, but he says it wasnt an issue at all and it only took him roughly an hour, mostly because he decided to hot glue the seam just in case my little brats try to claw the door off. Overall, its a cute way to frame a cat door and Im so happy that I bought it!

> 3 dayThis cat door was very easy to install, works perfectly, and is very very cute! Great purchase. We used a jigsaw to cut a hole in our laundry room door so that the cats can access the litter boxes inside. The instructions were very simple (and so was using the jigsaw for my first time! I was nervous but it was very easy for me to do even as a beginner). The cats immediately took to it, and even our biggest 13lb cat barely has to crouch to get through the opening. The design is absolutely adorable, we get a lot of great reactions and compliments. Really! I didnt anticipate how often guests would see it and laugh with delight - its a hit at parties! Never thought Id say that about a cat door, thats for sure. The material they are made of feels sturdy and does not look cheap. The white color matched my white door perfectly - it looks like they were made together - but the finish could easily be painted to match another color. They have name-brand 3M adhesive strips to attach them and they are very secure, the pieces fit together nicely with the interior strip that covers the gap in the hole of a hollow-core door. Overall this is a great cat door!

03-12-2024I like this new design. It’s much easier to install than the older model that had a separate arch piece and required more work to line up properly. This one has an integrated arch and is super easy to line up and screw in. This is my second install and it took all of ten minutes. My cats now have two doors to access both of their litter boxes.
