Its got enough length, but not enough width to get the job done properly. Doesnt break as easy as a carrot at least. Thinking of covering it in foam rubber and trying again. Definitely good for the novice wand prober.

I bought this as a gift for my granddaughter because shes now watched the 1st two Harry Potter movies. She went totally berserk when we told her to read the Ollivanders label on the box before opening it. The wand is really cool & I suspect Ill be buying her more of them for special occasions.

Arrived fast and was as described. Excellent item very realistic as it was in the movies. Read the books before you see the movie if you havent already.

We got our daughter this wand for Christmas and omg! We where so impressed how sturdy and how much detail it has. We thought it would be flimsy and light... nope not at all! Sturdy, very good weight to it, and just all around amazing! It’s like a real wand, will be purchasing others.

This absolutely is a wonderful purchase if you are a fan. I don’t recommend for kids. The only difference between this wand and Harry Potter’s is you can’t cast spells with it. However, like Harry’s is delicate....remember he broke his. Marvelous for display though. Especially with the box it comes in. Attention to detail is amazing!
