The Noble Collection Harry Potter Wand with Ollivanders Wand Box

I bought this wand as a birthday gift for a friends 7 year old son. It was the one thing he really wanted and told his mom, If anybody can find this wand, it will be Marcie. It beyond exceeded my expectations, and he was over the moon about. Now I might have to buy one for his dad, who was a little jealous. Cant thank you enough.

Its not a bad replica, but its hard to really mess up such a simple prop. Im not a Harry Potter fan, I got this as a gift for someone. But a simple search on Youtube for the scene where Harry receives the wand for the first time shows they didnt really care to make this as accurate as it could/should have been, bearing in mind the simplicity of the item. - the box dimensions are not movie accurate. - the wand thickness is not movie accurate. - The picture Noble Collection has for this needs to be updated. The handle may bear the same level of detail, but the shaft is more mundane looking than how it is in the picture. Its not awful, but just not as nuanced. - The copyright logo on the wand is in the most obnoxious spot. I dont know how they decided this was okay, it should be on the bottom base of the handle, out of sight. All that being said, the presentation is rather nice, it does have a nice weight to it, and for the price its not a bad replica. I just dont know why they made the decisions they did with this wand. If they needed it to be a bit more expensive to make it movie accurate, well, fine, I dont mind spending an extra $20 for it. But as it stands, it is the most accurate wand prop available, at least in its price range and not from some special manufacturer I am not aware of.

Got this as a Christmas present for a HP fan. She LOVED it! Its plastic but well made and comes in a lovely box with red velvet lining. We had a Harry Potter a thon and watched all the movies while she made the spells with her new wand. She was so happy. Great gift idea for HP fans!

My 10 year old Daughter LOVES this!!! It comes in a nice box AND I was surprised on how well its made... Very happy!!!

Looks ok, seems durable but for 20$ not 40 as it still looks way too much plastic.

Bought this expecting some results. I would not recommend. I was so excited to avadacadabra a hoe out of here. Does not work. Just another form of communist propaganda.
