Nice plastic wood look to it. Great toy for children for there imagination. When I resaved it and opened the box it was in the box when harry potter got his wand in episode one. It would make it a five stare if it were real wood.

Perfection! Looks like the real thing and sturdy enough that my child can play with it and I dont fear it will get broken. Beautifully packaged. A real must for the HP fan who wants to wow their friends with a cool wand.
