The Princess Bride (90th Anniversary Edition) (Bilingual) [Blu-ray]

This is a family favorite. My household and my married daughters family get together to watch it regularly. It provides the background to much of our family humor and culture. Its humor and lightness as a fantasy are famous and rightly so. This is not just another one of those comedy films. It is a quotable meme that sets a background for everything else you watch in the genre.

If you got the Special Addition its the same thing. Nothing new except that its Blu Ray.

A fairytale cleverly layered with themes of loyalty, conscience, integrity, condemnation and of course love. Deftly directed by Rob Reiner, this story moves along at a spirited pace with the story-telling never derailed by Fred Savage and Peter Faulks flashback sequences a technique so often a stumbling block in other films. Wit and humor abound for all ages making this a true classic.

I did not receive the movie that was in the picture, the movie I received was the 25th Anniversary edition that is in French and English, all the words are on there twice, once in English and once in French, had I known that I wouldnt have bought it. I love the movie just not the copy I received.

This is an excellent childrens movie. It has an excellent cast and a good story.

I love this movie and all of its dimensions and subtleties! It came in excellent condition and have had several happy viewings! I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone who is open to love, magic and amusing adventures!

I have seen this film DOZENS of times! It is a very good film without a doubt.
