Greater than one weekI remeber watching this as a child about two or three years after it came out and ever since then it has stuck with me. I find though, that people who dont like it, simply dont GET it! The Princess Bride is a movie version of a book, which is clearly making fun of the entire fairytale idea. The movie is the same. This was never supposed to be a sophisticated faiytale like Ever After, this movie is clearly spoofing the fairytale theme. And boy does it! Its so randomly funny at times anybody want a peanut?, that the random humour just makes you giggle. If you like spoofs then youll love this, probably the only good spoof movie with great acting, as a child I totally fell in love with it!
