I love this book about one of my favorite people, Helen Keller. I am giving this book ONE STAR for the sole purpose of AMAZONS CRAZY CATEGORY PEOPLE. I have written numerous times to Amazoms help people, whom I am sure never even heard of Helen Keller and her amazingly encouraging life. This book is listed in the CRIME AND CRIMALS section under POLITICS heading for Kindle users. PLEASE, even if you are not a Kindle owner and, if you agree with me, write in to Amazon to request the removal of this book from such a horrendous category. Excellent read. Quite interesting.

It was ok

I particularly enjoyed reading about her dreams and how she saw the world with her hands. However I didnt enjoy the repeated focus on proving that life is just as good or perhaps better without the ability to see. Its a fruitless argument from any side, she was speaking to a different audience of a different time of course but this became quickly redundant.

Remarkable person. Obviously she was a genius. If she’d had five senses instead of three, wow! God did some amazing things through her.

Excellent collection. The Book is Excellent and the pictures are marvelous and well illustrated. My Kids enjoyed reading this book.

classic

The story starts off very well and captured my interest from the first page. Initial chapters that mark the beginning of the plot were really interesting to read, and I remember finding it hard to put down the novel. I’d recommend this novel to the history genre lovers because the author seems to have done a substantial research on the on the topic. Truly gripping.
