Tianken 500G Hard Drive External HDD for Xbox 360, Gray

I have been reading these reviews that say it does not work and they are getting some sort of error message or its not formatted correctly, but I purchased this because Microsoft did not offer an official hard drive on Amazon. Despite all the bad reviews, mine is working just fine. No loud fan or speed up noises, formatted to 290gb which is expected as you lose some of the data when formatting hard drives. The only issue that everyone is guaranteed to come across is that original Xbox games will not function! Original Xbox backwards compatible games are only supported by official Microsoft hard drives. But, there is a very easy fix if you have a way of connecting the hard drive to your computer, like with a Microsoft Transfer Cable or a 3rd party cable of some kind. Its keep on formatting my data on my 360 but I guess its was just a bad one I am not upset because I am getting my money back to replace it but I guess its was just one hardware and I hope nobody goes through it besides that the people were very nice about it and its a great company thank you

Red ringed Xbox befor a week was over do not get this product!

Seems to work perfectly & just what the kids needed, an upgrade on storage so they could have all their games & downloaded content on one drive. So far so good. Bought a transfer cable to go with it so we were able to safely transfer everything to the new hard drive flawlessly.

al principio me funcionaba correctamente y sin problemas el disco duro, pero dos semanas después, encendí mi consola nuevamente solo para que apareciera un semi-circulo rojo con un mensaje de contactar con el servicio técnico. cuando retire el disco duro, mi consola funcionaba perfectamente. investigue cual pudo haber sido el problema, los resultados que encontré fue que el disco duro estaba sucio o dañado. decidí limpiar el disco duro con una pequeña toalla húmeda por si el disco duro tenia polvo o sucio y dejarlo desconectado de la consola un día completo. al siguiente día regrese a intentar encender la consola con el disco duro conectado, pero otra vez mi consola no funcionaba sino desconectaba el disco duro. At first, the hard drive was working correctly and without problems, but two weeks later, I turned on my console again only to see a red semi-circle appear with a message to contact technical service. when I removed the hard drive my console was working perfectly. Investigate what the problem may have been, the results I found was that the hard drive was dirty or damaged. I decided to clean the hard drive with a small damp towel in case the hard drive was dusty or dirty and leave it disconnected from the console for a full day. The next day I went back to try to turn on the console with the hard drive connected, but again my console did not work but disconnected the hard drive.

So far drive works great. Needed the extra space for all those free games from XBL. Totally worth it.

Its everything i wanted and I am enjoying it every day. I would do this again Im very pleased and satisfied.
