We love this game -- adding the 1910 expansion is fun and interesting to see the major train routes that existed at that time.

This was a gift for my brother and we play Ticket to Ride very often. It was great to have the game changed up with new and less predictable destinations. My only complaint is that the cards are a different size than the original, so you will have to either play with the original cards OR this set. There is no way to combine them and that is what we were thinking would be possible. All-around, its a nice additional to the original USA version.

As an avid Ticket to Ride player, I had to buy this expansion pack. It honestly doesnt give you much - it is basically a box of cards. 20 bucks for a box of cards is a little pricey, hence me taking off one star. But otherwise, this is a great addition to the game. The full size train cards are nice - the small ones that one with the original game are quite tiny. And the additional route tickets are fantastic, especially since they include ALL cities - the standard game actually misses quite a few. In the original game, it was easy to learn all of the routes, and be able to predict which cards your opponents had based on their moves. With this expansion, that is gone! Plus it gives you a few additional ways to play. While they additional game modes are not anything extremely different (you honestly could think of these on your own), they do give some nice variety, and require different strategies.

This adds some interesting options to the games. It makes multiple short hauls linked together a viable early strategy. Most of all I like the larger cards. They take up more room in the box, but they are so much easier to handle and shuffle that is worth twice the price if you already like Ticket to Ride.

With an additional 36 destinations it is anyones guess to where your opponents are headed making the game more exciting and less frustrating for new players. The larger tickets are more comfortable to hold and are better for those with vision impairments like seniors and color blind individuals (each card not only has its own color which is easy to see but also different train symbols so even if someone cannot distinguish the colors they can see the differing symbols on the cards). Paired with the origional ticket to ride game this will be the center of excitement for many game nights to come.

I got this for a gift for my mom, we play ticket to ride all the time. I did not think it was going to be worth the price, but I was wrong. If you play often,It is worth every penny! I love that it gives you more routes, changing the game up a bit, and the cards are easy to shuffle! We were having such a hard time shuffling the tiny cards that come with the original game. These cards are so much better!
