The expansion pack definitely makes the game better. 1) The larger number of destination cards makes the game less predictable and gives more incentive to pick destinations. 2) The larger cards are a HUGE improvement because you can actually shuffle them like a deck of cards instead of trying to fumble with the little cards that came in the original game. The only drawback that I see to the expansion pack is the price. It seems like what youre paying for are just fixes to things that were wrong with the original game and given the price of the original game it kind of feels like youre getting ripped off to have to pay extra for this. That being said though, it does make the game better.

Like the gift that I gave to my grandson! We even played it on his birthday!! The cards are better than the original ones with the original game! This version was fun and gave us a new way to play! H thought it was great!!

This is a must if you play Ticket to Ride. It replaces the small cards that came with the game with regular sized cards. Wish the game came with normal cards but since it doesnt this is the perfect addition.

The larger cards are a MUST. Youll never use the original cards again. Also, the new route cards have you building all over the map.

if you are buying Ticket to Ride for the first time, get this too, cards are bigger, better, and this adds a new dimension to the game. If you dont get it right away, you may find that it is sold out and you have to wait.....
