3200 psi 2.5gpm worked perfect with a cheap bag of play sand. To keep it from clogging make sure you keep the hose that is in the sand facing upward all the time. If you don’t water will get in and cause it to stop working.

Tried using the harbor freight 100lb media blaster with an air compressor. That was a fail; whatever you blast will ricochet and blast the crap out of you and get the sand and debris all over everything. Great exfoliation for your arms and everything not covered, but excessive amounts of sand in your butt crack. With this pressure washer attachment everything stays relatively clean and the dust/ sand stays knocked down. I was able to use this with sunglasses, shorts, and a t shirt while getting a better end result. The only thing thats kind of a bummer is whatever metal you blast is going to flash rust. The best rust converter I used was Eastwoods rust encapsulater. Pair these two together and youll be golden.

I was trying to sandblast with a traditional gravity feed to no avail. The compressor just didnt have the cfm to push the sandblaster. I found this thing with my 3100 psi and 2.4 gpm just night and day. It does use more media but, since Its dustless you can use regular sand at 5 bucks for 50 lbs. no problem. Im going to try and use It with the gravity feed container make It easier for feeding the monster. Will let you know how It works. Update tried using It with the siphon container and did not work. I also wasnt able to use regular play sand It immediately clogged up the hose. I guess Im going back to the coal slag.

2.5GPM, 2900PSI Pressure Washer with 3.0 nozzle. Blasted an entire car frame that was rusting since 35. Took (17) 50lb bags of media to complete, and around 8 hours of blasting. Used Black Diamond Fine Coal Slag from Tractor Supply. Some very important notes. 1) the supplied hose must be replaced immediately. I blasted half of the frame with it, and the internal ribs and large diameter of tubing cause the media to be pulled through the nozzle in waves. I replaced it with a 3/8 fuel line, and immediately had far better success and consistent blasting. Note that the hard lines accept 1/2 hose. I forced the 3/8 line on, and felt the smaller diameter produced better suction. 2) if you get any water in the hose, swap for another dry hose. I tried blowing the water out with air, and just could not get it completely dry. Kept clogging. 3) this is a very slow and messy process. But for the price it is worth it. 4) metal will flash rust but is easily resolved with a wire wheel.

I own a 3300 psi 2.5 gpm pressure washer. For any of these types of wet blasting units you need a 4000 psi 4 gpm pressure washer to quickly strip paint down to bare metal. I am restoring some farm implements stuck in the dirt for 35 years. They are covered with rust. Sanding would take too long. And I have concerns about using acid because I dont want to hurt the structural integrity of the farm implements. Therefore I bought this and decided to give it a try. First, the quality of the components are high. Stainless steel and brass. The tube is fine. For $39.99 what you get is high quality. I also ordered some replacement tips. I bought a bulk size 5lb baking soda box. I located it away from where any water might get on it. I turned the end of the lance up so the siphon tube was above the tip of the lance, thus ensuring water didnt drip into the siphon tube. It did a good job. It took off the flaking rust and only left non flaking rust on my snow plow. I then power washed this, let it dry, and sprayed it with Rustoleum Rust Converter. I plan on applying primer and red paint to finish it up. This is a good value. If I had a very powerful pressure washer I could have removed all rust, but that is not this products fault. I would purchase it again, as it saved me a lot of time sanding. Plus I didnt have to breathe in dust from sanding. I have only used baking soda. It is fine so it doesnt clog, dry, and easily washes away for easy cleanup.

Works great. Im using baking soda and a plastic tarp to catch the runoff. After you collect it and dry out the water it is reusable. Seller was quick to respond that spare ceramic inserts (the wear item of the unit) will be available mid Nov. 2019 via amazon!!!! Great service!!

The sent me the sandblaster and it looks good BUT they refuse to send the replacement tips to my location. That makes no sense to me. So I had to order the tips from a different vendor.
