Overall, it works well enough as it does what it is supposed to do. However, the suction hose is not long enough to keep your dry sand out of the way of water spray/ splash from using the blaster. A person could cover the bucket of sand with a plastic bag but then you wouldnt be able to see the sand level and tilt the bucket accordingly. 3 stars I would say, 4 stars if it had a sufficiently longer hose.

Ill start by stating the obvious; if youre looking to start a sandblasting business out of the back of your truck, this isnt what youre looking for. If youre looking for a great way to sandblast the occasional fender or a now-and-then larger project, this is a great setup. I am using it with a 3.2GPM 3100PSI gas pressure washer, and it flows well, cuts well, and covers a respectable area with a better-than-average rate of sand usage. I was able to clean a rusty flatbed frame in about 15 minutes. The water keeps the dust down (you still get sand everywhere).

Works great but wore through suction hose rather quickly. Easy fix.

It works great for the money, regular sandblasting definitely works better but if you don’t have a compressor at home like me then this is the way to go, I used a 2500psi 5GPM pressure washer and a 2800 psi 2.4 gpm, the higher GPM unit worked best, I did go through a lot of material fast, I used coal slag first worked great and then I used play sand from Lowe’s which worked better only thing you need to do if you use play sand is put a tarp out and pour the sand thinly and let it sit in sun or a hot shop to dry out and rake it to flip the damp sand,if you don’t dry the play sand the blaster will not work at all, I used about 150lbs to do 4 brake calipers and the brackets but I probably need another 50lbs to complete them, if you have a good pressure washer then I would definitely recommend buying this.
