> 3 dayOverall a good item, but can be improved to be great! Im monitoring a small grid-tie inverter and every few days the plug just turns off (not because of a power outage, which is another issue). This causes the inverter to shut off and electricity to stop being produced. Also would be great to see the hourly or even minutely chart and a feature to reset total consumption.

> 3 dayJust wanted to post that after trying and returning lots of other plugs, I received these today and have confirmed that as of today, these plugs are compatible with Tasmota, plashed with Tuya-Convert (Raspberry Pi with an ESP32 donor module), The plugs were marked as both 1811Ver1.0.0 and 1812Ver1.0.0. The only downside is that these plugs are a little too big to allow two of them to fit into the outlet at the same time. You cant really even plug another regular cord into the outlet plate when this plug is plugged into the outlet. But on the positive side, it appears that these plugs have power consumption monitoring, so maybe kind of like a Kill-A-Watt can provide? not sure yet. Well also have to see if Tasmota and/or Home Assistant can read the current consumption.

> 3 dayBought these for all our Christmas lights. So nice not to chase around plugging and unplugging all those extension cords. Liked them so much, we bought another set to use around the house. Nice to walk in a dark room and just speak, and the lights come on. Or, go to bed and just speak the lights to go off. We travel a lot, so I expect the schedule feature to be a real boon. PS these are rated to handle up to 10 amps. The feature to see the electrical demand and usage allows you to know how much you have added, and avoid an overload.

> 3 dayThis product was simple to install with the top Greener app. Was very easy to link to Alexa afterwards with the related skill. It responds quickly to smart commands. I have it running a heater in my bedroom oh, and I was able to make it on an automated timer in case it ever got left on.

> 3 dayI picked this up because it could handle the 1500 wattage of my bathroom space heater. We set the heater to automatically turn on with the alarm clock. The best part is I was able to use the app so the heater will always turn off after 30 minutes. If its turned on manually or via the app, itll auto shut off after 30 minutes.

> 3 dayI got these before they upgraded and made smaller outlet devices but these were perfectly fine. I use these to monitor the electricity usage for my air conditioners and in the winter time for the space heaters. This way I know exactly how much electricity the air conditioners and space heaters are using and I can estimate my bill. I could also use them to monitor and reduce the amount of electricity Im using. Simply by turning the air conditioner up or the space heater down youll notice a big change in the amount of electricity used and the amount you have to pay simply by having this little device at home.

Greater than one weekThis TopGreener smart outlet plug helps me remotely power my troublesome furnace OFF and ON from anywhere. My ten year old Bryant high-efficiency furnace has an intermittent problem. When the thermostat calls for heat, the furnace does a startup cycle of running a purge blower, then igniting the burner. The burner doesnt always ignite and the furnace shuts down. To make it try again, the power switch must be turned OFF, then ON. Once in awhile, this has to be done twice. We have had a service tech out three times, but the furnace always behaves when hes here. Last winter, we were overseas, visiting family. I checked our smart thermostat and saw it calling for heat, but the house was dropping below 60 degrees. Several times, our daughter had to go to our house and turn the switch OFF, then ON to reset the furnace. I needed to find a way to do this from anywhere. Smart switches that I found seemed to be intended to control lights and/or didnt have the capacity to run a gas furnace. I needed to find a smart device with a 15 amp capacity. I chose the TopGreener smart outlet rated to operate appliances up to 15 amps. I also wanted to be able to bypass the smart device, just in case there were any problems. The photos show what was done. The smart outlet plugs into a single receptacle that is always powered. The power cord from the smart outlet is connected to the three-way switch. The Common terminal of the three-way switch is connected to the bottom switch to power the furnace. The remaining three-way switch screw connects to the source power. Thus the three-way switch will power the furnace from the smart outlet or constant power. The TopGreener Android app works very well. The only issue I had was trying to initially pair the smart outlet. The paper instruction sheet packed with the smart plug is correct and worked. After set-up, it was easy to rename the smart outlet. It works well with Alexa, but the instructions were a little confusing to me. But I confuse easily. The ultimate test was when I contacted a friend across the ocean in Guam, and asked him to install the app and try to power my furnace ON and OFF. It worked!

> 3 dayFrom all the research I’ve done this Topgreener WiFi plug always rates highest. I can see why- it was super easy to set up, their website is simply to use and navigate. Our router is on the first floor and we have the plugs on both first and second floor and we have no problem with WiFi connection. I love being able to turn on lamps before I enter a room and also create schedules and timers! Can’t wait to buy more!
