Broke 3 pens,; Paperclips bent. 2mm needing needle and crochet hook BOTH bent. Stop making them in CHina. I am so pissed. I was counting on this suitcase and feel totally suckered. I thought it made sense to get a high quality suitcase that will last longer then the $99 specials at Marshalls but I will be heading there and returning this.

I loved everything about this luggage. Then on the way home, on my first trip with this luggage, the zipper broke and I lost a bunch of stuff inside that was not strapped in. I think it’s a poor design, the only thing holding this closed is the zipper.

A bit flimsy for the $. Lightweight, great warranty, yet could be a bit more reinforced at seams. Looks like zipper is all that is holding both sides together.

$699. Used item shipped inside a UPS Store box. Scratches, rub marks, items inside used to welcome you to Briggs and register item are missing, all zippers undone. This was horrible. Happened on two pieces. I will just buy direct from B&R from now on.

I like the case. The couple issues I have are price to quality/features. It’s expensive and at the same time it is a very basic case. I like the suited functionality. The only thing I think is wrong is the thickness of the shell. Seems a bit too flexible and thin, just waiting for it to get punctured, or scratched through. It’s checked luggage, so it needs to be a little more abrasion resistant. I only kept the case due to the excellent warranty coverage, we’ll see how the first claim goes, because it will end up with a hole in it sometime soon.

This brand is the best and this piece is no exception to that. The size makes it great for the 2 to 3 weeks vacations I take. At the moment my son-in-law has borrowed it and may never return it. Hes 63 and said its the first piece of luggage hes ever packed that accommodates his clothing without reducing everything to a mass of wrinkles. Well designed, super roomy, and lightweight. Luggage doesnt get any better than this!

UPDATE: I was able to contact the good people at Briggs and Riley about my suitcase coming with a broken zipper. They immediately sent out a new replacement suitcase. Thankfully this one doesn’t have any zipper problems. I look forward to taking it on a trip. It is small and very light weight so I can’t stuff it like my other one. So this is much more for short trips or strictly as a carry on while you have also a checked in bag. I would have liked an couple inner pockets but it is a nice space. I’m changing my rating from 2 stars to 4 stars.

So wanted to love this bag but the TSA lock didnt work so the front panel wouldnt unlock. But very light weight and stylish. Returning for another model.

This is a highly durable suitcase, that holds a lot. The wheels are excellent, so pushing it through the airport takes very little effort. The price is fair for what you get.

Great concept but zipping system weak and lock on outer pockets does not work properly with heavier weight in the bag! Not good.
