Torq Hardside Luggage, Hunter, Checked-X-Large 32-Inch

Great suitcase, but the box and suitcase arrived damaged. See the pictures.

Love the hard outer shell! This is the perfect size for me. I always tend to overpack so it really forced me to only take essentials. I always travel with hair tools and i was confident in knowing that they along with some products I use would be okay in such a sturdy piece of luggage. It’s just big enough for the right amount of clothes and essentials without being to heavy.

I didnt buy this for myself but for my daughter who travels for her work. She said it was definitely a high quality item: the Ferrari of luggage!

The Hunter green color is MUCH DARKER than it appears in the photos. I thought it was black when it arrived, until I looked at it in direct sunlight, then you can see the subtle matte green coloring. The design is nice though - I like the exterior laptop pocket, but I wish it had an additional grab handle on the side and was expandable.

The product arrived earlier than expected also included a small gift has a token of their appreciation.

This piece of luggage is light weight, rolls easily, and the USB port that can connect to my battery in a special pouch were nice features. There were a few things that also were not so great. The case was very flimsy unless it was fully packed. When it was fully packed with clothes they expanded into the front opening meant to hold electronics. My laptop had to be shoved in and I didn’t feel comfortable adding my tablet to such a tight space. The interior also lacked any pockets that would normally be used for socks and/or intimate apparel. The only way to keep things neat was to use packing cubes. In such a tight space this was inconvenient.

I like the design concept. Except it does not lay flat when you open it. One end is always up because the zipper hinge does not fully unzip. So, when packed, I believe the weight breaks the hinge zipper that holds it together. So it is either a fatal design flaw that makes the luggage worthless, and/or mine was a broken and sold as new after a very apparent bad repair. The bad repair shows under the cloth covering at the hinge. Regardless, if the suitcase does not lay flat on both sides when opened, it is not useable and definitely will split in two! Too bad! Sent it back.

Great concept but zipping system weak and lock on outer pockets does not work properly with heavier weight in the bag! Not good.

I normally put all my luggage in a duffel bag but last trip that got left out in the rain while the loaded the plane and my clothes got all wet. So I decided to try a hard shell. I love it . This thing glides effortlessly and has plenty of room inside for pack for a weekend or few day long trip. It does fit into the overhead compartment no problem and it just makes life easier for traveling. I dont actually use the charging port so cant speak to that.

The luggage broke on the very first trip. Zipper tore completely off spilling all of the contents. Lifetime warranty seems good, but I cant trust this luggage on another trip. So theres over $400 completely wasted. And to add insult to injury the luggage is only one month old, they want me to pay to send it back for repair. Dont buy this brand!
