> 3 dayThe product itself is built beautifully and would have been very easy to install and use. However, with the limited measurements provided and the promise of “fitting any bed frame type”, this product does not deliver. My daughter has a recessed mattress within a bed frame with slats. It is a standard size from a major furniture retailer, professionally built. It is impossible to tell from the item description and measurements exactly how recessed the mattress could be before the product will not work, and unfortunately, my daughter’s bed is a bit too recessed. The hinge would have to sit shoved between the mattress and the outer bed frame, compressing the mattress between the rail guards, or otherwise the horizontal support beam would have to bend significantly upwards under the mattress to allow the hinge to sit above the bed frame. I’d recommend the company make it clear in the measurements how much distance there is between the hinge and the horizontal bottom beam for the purpose of a recessed bed. I’d also recommend not advertising the product as “fitting any bed frame type” as that is quite misleading.

> 3 dayRight height for my sons Ikea bed and seems to be pretty sturdy

> 3 dayIm sure this rail is more sturdy when used on a wooden frame or slats, but when you use the straps designed for the box spring, its just not sturdy enough. The straps themselves rely on the mattress on top of them to keep them in place and to keep the rail from coming loose. Will it keep my toddler from rolling onto the floor? Probably. But I can see him easily getting squished between the bed and the rail, the rail becoming extremely loose, or even eventually pulling off completely. This definitely needs some redesigning for box spring use.

> 3 dayWe installed this bed rail for our grandson, on a slatted twin bunk bed. We used the Velcro to attach it to the slats. And the two straps to secure it between the mattress and metal bed frame. It is very secure. Love the fold down feature. Amazing! Easy to assemble. I watched the TotCraft video on YouTube. Highly recommend. Very pleased.

> 3 dayThere is literally only one SLIGHT downfall, which is the instructions. They could totally be better in my opinion. Like labeling everything would go a long way lol. I ended up just watching a YouTube video which helped a lot and ended up being SUPER easy to put together. I had a regalo bed rail for my toddler before this one and it seemed flimsy and the fabric tore. This product seems a lot sturdier. No regrets.

> 3 dayEasy to use and install. Put this on a king bed and i needed something that folded down at a higher point so it wouldn’t hit the ground. Works great!

> 3 dayI use this to co-sleep and it helps me feel more confident my baby won’t roll out of bed. Super easy to assemble! I have a box spring and used the straps that came with it. Great product.
