Greater than one weekIts difficult to maneuver the latch to lower the rail. It was easy to assemble but the installation has me hesitant. Im not sure how it will hold up, Id prefer it if the box spring straps wrapped around the entire box spring! That would make me feel better, but instead there its a weird piece of tethered plastic that is supposed to rely on the mattress from shifting to keep it secure? I got this for my 4 year old, we bed-share and I recently set up a twin bed in the corner of my bedroom. Hoping to slowly transition him from our bed/room and into his own space.. got this rail in hopes of preventing him from falling off the bed. Well see how it works but Im disappointed in price for the quality.

> 3 dayThe instructions, except the pictures are useless. Just use common sense and put it together. It was only hard for my to install becUse I could barely lift the heavy twin mattress on and off the bed to get this under it. It works well

> 3 dayMy autistic son is a constant mover falls off the bed every night. He is 6 and around 50lbs has laid up against it doesnt unlock on him. We didnt use the straps to hold on to a frame and still works great. This has kept him sage in bed all night long.

> 3 dayThis was easy to put together and with a standard box spring and mattress on top, it just slides under the mattress and is super sturdy! We love how it goes down flat so you can easily walk buy/make the bed without it in the way. We are using this for our small dog who sleeps in bed with us who is having night vision issues and may fall off the bed. Hopefully this helps to keep her safe!

> 3 dayThis item is working out perfectly for us! The only thing I’d like to note is that when assembling it, the reference in step 1 to “fixed screws” is confusing. What they mean by that is “machine screws.” Insert those, tighten using the nuts provided, and you’re good to go!
