Honestly, if youre looking for a quality umbrella that will keep you dry, that will last, and that has auto-open/close, I dont think you can go wrong with Totes Umbrellas. I needed a new umbrella for my car, and this fit the bill. The first day I had it in there, it got me through a walk from my car in the howling rain. The auto open is easy and smooth. Would definitely recommend this!

I usually don’t spend much time thinking about them, but I have a number of discount umbrellas that I keep all over the place; at home, in my car, in my tote bag and in my desk at work. This is a very nice compact umbrella, it seems a bit sturdier than the discount umbrellas I have which also keep the rain off and flip outward (rather than break) in a high wind. This one is also useful as a parasol with UPF 50 power, which I won’t use it for but I have seen others here in the south do. What I really appreciate about this particular umbrella is how well it sheds water. Even a quick walk in from the parking lot usually soaks my umbrella and then it spends all day drying out, this one is made to shed water quickly, so I’m not left with a soaking wet umbrella to contend with once I’m inside. It will eventually get wet, but it takes a lot longer than with a standard umbrella. It’s compact and meant for one, but if you prefer more coverage or need to walk together with someone you’ll want to opt for a larger size. Last of all it’s very pretty, both the black background and the colors are vibrant and there are some stylish options to choose from. The black one will perform just as well, but for me the colored ones provide a little happy on a dreary rainy day. I like it a lot, I would recommend this umbrella to anyone.

It works pretty well. It’s a little hard to close, but closes okay and opens like a dream, which is nice when getting out of car in a storm. I think it’s the same one they used for Lucy in “Only Murders In The Building.” If not, it’s close! :)

This umbrella is nice and compact. It can fit in a glove compartment, briefcase. backpack, or even an overcoat pocket. I would consider this a one person umbrella due to its small coverage diameter. Here are some specs: weight: 10.5 ounces Length: 11.25 inches (closed) Coverage diameter: 3 feet Arm length when opened: 21.25 inches The push button on the handle pops it open but the cool thing is when you push it while its open, the umbrella collapses quickly. You then just have to push it down towards the handle and wrap it shut with the velcro holder. I think this is a great umbrella for walking from your car/train/bus to wherever you are going. The compact size is the best feature.

Never Wet Invisible coating manufactured by Totes is so easy to bring out of the rain because it repels 4 times better than other umbrellas. I have found it so easy to open and close and it is about 55 when open. The handle is very sturdy and has a strap so you can either put it over your arm or when at home you can hang it on a hook. It is UV protected from the sun so you can use it on a hot day as well as a rainy day! It has a strap to hold the umbrella together before you put it in the case that comes with it. This particular umbrella is so cute with a pattern of different colors of rain drops when it is open. I really like this umbrella and very happy to have it!

Imagine opening a $20 umbrella during a downpour, only to find out its broken. I originally gave 5 stars...until I opened it. How is a sealed umbrella already broken??? Not happy.
