totes Automatic Eco Open Close Water-Resistant Travel Folding Umbrella with Sun Protection

Being a lifelong Oregonian I rarely used umbrellas - it’s an Oregon thing. Rain is so common here you just go with it. But, now that I spend the majority of my time in Arizona I wanted something compact for my car. This fits my needs to a T. Easy to open and close, sturdy and keeps me dry.

Honestly, if youre looking for a quality umbrella that will keep you dry, that will last, and that has auto-open/close, I dont think you can go wrong with Totes Umbrellas. I needed a new umbrella for my car, and this fit the bill. The first day I had it in there, it got me through a walk from my car in the howling rain. The auto open is easy and smooth. Would definitely recommend this!

I usually don’t spend much time thinking about them, but I have a number of discount umbrellas that I keep all over the place; at home, in my car, in my tote bag and in my desk at work. This is a very nice compact umbrella, it seems a bit sturdier than the discount umbrellas I have which also keep the rain off and flip outward (rather than break) in a high wind. This one is also useful as a parasol with UPF 50 power, which I won’t use it for but I have seen others here in the south do. What I really appreciate about this particular umbrella is how well it sheds water. Even a quick walk in from the parking lot usually soaks my umbrella and then it spends all day drying out, this one is made to shed water quickly, so I’m not left with a soaking wet umbrella to contend with once I’m inside. It will eventually get wet, but it takes a lot longer than with a standard umbrella. It’s compact and meant for one, but if you prefer more coverage or need to walk together with someone you’ll want to opt for a larger size. Last of all it’s very pretty, both the black background and the colors are vibrant and there are some stylish options to choose from. The black one will perform just as well, but for me the colored ones provide a little happy on a dreary rainy day. I like it a lot, I would recommend this umbrella to anyone.

I’ve never had this problem with any umbrella, but after using it once I could not close it. My husband also tried and nothing worked. Even worse, hard to return an unclosed umbrella.

Its been raining like crazy in Oklahoma and this umbrella is a life saver.....litereally!!

My pretty Totes umbrella just arrived, in time for Hurricane Ida whose remnants will visit New Jersey tomorrow when I have to go out. The big test for me was can I close it and collapse it easily. The last automatic umbrella I had was so hard to collapse that I had to push it against a wall to collapse it. Really hard when its pouring and youre trying to get in your car. As soon as I opened this one, I was so happy to find that when I pushed the button it opened to a size that will keep me dry and when I pushed the button to close it and I pushed the bottom, it collapsed easily, and I didnt have to use brute strength that I dont have. Thanks Totes, this one is a winner. This New Jersey great grandmother approves.

Great umbrella. It opens slick and is easy to fold back up. it repels the water and is easy to use and operate. Its also the perfect size. Not very much one can report about an umbrella but if you have questions, feel free to ask.
