> 24 hourWorks quite well and the size is 7.5 when folded. This one has a push button feature for both opening and closing. That works very well too. The coverage is quite good for a very small umbrella, but a bit testy for two people. I havent tested it in windy conditions, only light winds, but the construction looks strong enough to hold up in at least moderate winds if not more. In case you are curious, Totes makes an even smaller one (only 5.8) that they call a purse umbrella that I reviewed earlier and it is excellent. Relax guys, the purse thing is just a name. Its a black umbrella that you put in your pocket. These mini umbrellas are great when you dont want to tote around a large umbrella all day.

> 24 hourI have bought totes umbrellas over the years and have several other ones. This one the product quality is terrible. I had to buy it twice in a few months time. The first one turned inside out on a windy day, one spoke broke and now it is bent on one side and not usable. The second one the handle broke and completely fell apart while closing the umbrella. I do not recommend this product. Not sure why the quality is so much lower than Totes umbrellas made in the past, but this one is badly made and does not last.

> 24 hourIt is very tiny umbrella that open up to keep me dry. I received just was I ordered. If there is a problem after I use it, I definite will let you know. My only problem here in SoCal is that it does not rain all that much (of course, ignoring the past couple of weeks...)

> 24 hourThe umbrella is sturdy enough for winds, but still manages to be lightweight. I used it today actually, and it worked out fine. Itll really come in handy when were traveling. Ill be able to fit it in my purse easily. In addition, the company is terrific. They guarantee the umbrella and really stand by their product. They already have asked me if Im happy with it, and Ive only had it a few days. Great job!

> 24 hourThe umbrella opens easily and keeps me dry, but even with the automatic closing feature its difficult top close. I have to use both hands and push the end against something solid.

> 24 hourmy son is off to college in atlanta and he wanted a small umbrella he can carry in the backpack. it is really small. a push button to open and collapse is a feature worth noting. however it takes some work to roll up the fabrics to fit into sleeve that come with it. from my sinS perspective it would be 4 stars because it is small when folded. but I would give 2 1/2 or 3 because it takes a while to put it back to the sleeve and also it provides enough umbrella to cover your head. there is not enough umbrella for two heads unless they put cheek to cheek.

> 24 hourI am disappointed because I wanted lighter-weight umbrellas and these came up as lightweight -- they are NOT! Overall quality is very nice but not convenient to carry around in purse or carry-on baggage.

> 24 hourI moved from a Landsend briefcase to a backpack. No loops for an umbrella in backpack, so I was looking for small collapsed size. Fits the bill - press button to open, press button to collapse (collapse requires some additional manual collapsing.

> 24 hourI bought this for my husband because it can fit easily in his back pocket since he doesnt carry anything else with him while going out. He likes the compact nature. He also likes the auto open and close feature., added bonus. Hes 511 and it covers most of him when using it. His shoulders does get a bit wet sometimes but it doesnt bother him. Hes easy going but if that would bother you, then dont buy for an adult man or someone who has wide shoulders. This is good otherwise if you want small.
