totes Unisex Auto Open J-Handle Stick ECO Umbrella

No more shaking off water like crazy before pulling my umbrella into my car or walking onto my hardwood floors when coming in from the rain! Seriously I didnt realize how much water my umbrellas themselves carried on them -- but this one is GREAT for quickly getting in and out of the car...it really saves times and a huge mess. I travel in and out of several buildings a day for work, so this is awesome. I dont think I can go back to a regular umbrella now, the water will annoy me. That being said, the construction of the umbrella is pretty decent quality. The handle is a grippy rubbery surface, easier to hold onto especially when your hand is freezing cold and wet. Size wise, it is not gigantic -- the description makes it seem huge like a golf umbrella, but its about the size youd expect from a stick umbrella: bigger than a fold-up compact model, but not ginormous. It would be comfortable for two people to walk under, or perfect for one person who doesnt want to get wet at ALL (me). It has an automatic opening feature, manual close. Its definitely the umbrella I go for now every time -- the fact that its not compact doesnt matter at all, because the water repellent thing is so awesome it could be the size of a car bumper and Id still carry it...(that being said, its a very normal size to carry, and very lightweight, actually). Im genuinely afraid somebody is going to steal my umbrella now. Its very steal-worthy. Off to write my name on it in permanent marker...

I normally buy and use compact umbrellas that I can carry in a backpack or a small shopping bag. I generally dont use the longer umbrellas. But I did need something a bit larger and of a better quality for some errands I must do in the rain, so I thought I would try this full-size umbrella. I was quite surprised at how nice it is. This umbrella is very lightweight. Its lighter than my smaller umbrellas. The materials appear to be of at least good to very good quality. the canopy material does not feel loose or loosely connected to the frame. Its very tight. The handle has a nice feel to it, in terms of the material used for the finishing. The umbrella opens fast and is easy to close. A large press-button latch is simple and does not require a hard push or a lot of strength to operate. Its what you would want in an umbrella! Given how lightweight it is, its easy to carry around. When folded, the entire length is 36. Totes always was at the forefront of umbrella manufacture, and this model should satisfy those who want this type of style and length. While I have not yet been caught in a huge wind-driven rainstorm with it, it should perform better than any other umbrella I currently have in a somewhat harsh rain. It also comes in numerous colors. I chose Moroccan Blue. Very nice! Overall, I like this umbrella. I really think you will, too!

My totes have always lasted even in the harshest conditions. This one is sleek, high end looking, the penguin vibes. Its a good size. My man said it was strong and he loved the look of it.

This umbrella is made well using quality materials. It has a nice sturdy J snapped handle and opens automatically with the touch of a button. The dimensions are as listed in the posting and is large enough to share with another person. The rain rolls off the umbrella. I really like this umbrella and would recommend it.

I opened up the flimsy box this arrived in, and the umbrella was bent. When I tried to open it, it just snapped , as the inside was broken. It appears the pole is made of aluminum, it bends like a tin can. Very poorly made, a complete waste. I can’t close it back up, which means I cannot put it in a box to send back. I’d give “zero” stars if I could.

As soon as I read the description of this umbrella, claiming it shed water more readily and prevented a splattering, puddling mess when brought into the house or car, I knew I wanted to try it. I was beginning to despair of ever getting to as we went through one of the driest summers ever. I longed for rain for my browning lawn and my umbrella test. Finally, we got a few days that worked for both, with every degree of rain from pounding down to barely there. I loved the umbrella! Water really does roll off, leaving it barely damp when you furl it to bring it inside. Its just a really good umbrella. The canopy is 46 inches, so I dont have to choose between wet head, wet shoulders, or wet bag if Im carrying something. It looks very stylish with its silver tip and handle. The old-school curved handle makes it easy to carry, both opened and closed. It shoots open quickly and smoothly and is easy to close and furl, and it carries the Totes lifetime guarantee in case it ever fails to do so. Its become my favorite umbrella.

This is a discreetly stylish umbrella, a bit fancier than your standard black brolly but nothing TOO dandy; just right for someone who wears a boutineer in the lapel of his/her black suit. The handle is silver-painted plastic and scratches easily, but nothing a dot of paint couldnt cure. The water resistance is perfectly fine; Ive never had an umbrella with real trouble with that. The mechanism seems reliable, and the ribs seem sturdy. The umbrella of course opens with a push button, but has to be pulled closed - its easy to grip the clear plastic runner hub and pull it down.

Unfortunately, the umbrella I received has a silver handle as opposed to a dark handle as advertised online. I would not have ordered this product if I knew theyd send me a silver umbrella.

Love the design, silver handle and little wrap around buckle cinch the deal! Works great, I looked at a hundred different umbrellas if I looked at one, No buyers remorse here!
