My wife wanted this umbrella without knowing anything more than the color! She loves the look of it. Upon arrival, when she saw how great it looks and how easily it works, she was ecstatic. In Florida, we deal with rain on a regular basis and you need an umbrella for your home, your car, your office, and your purse or briefcase. So, this has taken its place in our home where visitors can ooh and ahh and my wife can smile broadly as she explains how easy it is to open and close, how waterproof it is, how quickly it dries, how large the coverage is and the fact that it is made of recycled material!! She (and I) highly recommend it.

Loved it! Sleek look! I thought it would be a little more sturdy like the black one with wooden handle but other than that it looks great! Havent rained yet for me to test how it holds up but so far, looks great!

This Totes Umbrella delivers on its promise! It does stay drier than other umbrellas. It looks well made, holds up well in a good breeze and I expect will do well for the long haul. The only concern I have is how long the Never Wet coating will last.

Full disclosure, we have not used this in strong winds or heavy rain yet, but so far we LOVE this umbrella! It is smooth and easy to operate, seems t have the right balance between strong and sturdy vs light and practical. It seems well made! And bonus.....the black with polka dots canapoy, silver handle, and length of this umbrella makes it a perfect decor accessory in our entry way contemporary styled umbrella holder! For this money, we thought there was enough value that we have decided to return another umbrella we bought for the solid black version of this.

Horrible! Had a HARD time opening it. Immediately Returned it

This is a discreetly stylish umbrella, a bit fancier than your standard black brolly but nothing TOO dandy; just right for someone who wears a boutineer in the lapel of his/her black suit. The handle is silver-painted plastic and scratches easily, but nothing a dot of paint couldnt cure. The water resistance is perfectly fine; Ive never had an umbrella with real trouble with that. The mechanism seems reliable, and the ribs seem sturdy. The umbrella of course opens with a push button, but has to be pulled closed - its easy to grip the clear plastic runner hub and pull it down.

I opened up the flimsy box this arrived in, and the umbrella was bent. When I tried to open it, it just snapped , as the inside was broken. It appears the pole is made of aluminum, it bends like a tin can. Very poorly made, a complete waste. I can’t close it back up, which means I cannot put it in a box to send back. I’d give “zero” stars if I could.
