It beads water off and is nice looking. You can bring it in immediately because water doesnt stay on it.

Lightweight and large enough to cover 2 adults. The water does drip off faster than my old umbrella - drying time is way faster and less mess (bonus!)

Loved it! Sleek look! I thought it would be a little more sturdy like the black one with wooden handle but other than that it looks great! Havent rained yet for me to test how it holds up but so far, looks great!

Im an umbrella fan in general (my husband mocks my collection, as he calls it, but I dont like to be unprepared), and this one is a good one - strong pole and handle; sturdy canopy. The water resistance is a really nice feature - no umbrella is going to come out of a rainstorm dry, but with this one water beads up and rolls off quickly for substantially less lingering wetness. The auto-open feature works well, with enough resistance to prevent it flying open uncontrollably.

This is my second purchase of this umbrella (some moron stole my other one) and it works well and looks good. It isnt over-sized or too small and fits my need just right. Every gentleman should have one of these.

This is a nice, sturdy umbrella thats lightweight and provides coverage for one person. I especially liked the auto-open feature, though I would have preferred an auto-close feature as well. Im not sure I really noticed the NeverWet technology, though it would be convenient to not drip all over the place when walking between my office and the subway. Overall, this is fine, but nothing special.

What makes this umbrella so much better than one you might pick up on a street corner for $5.00 when youre caught in a rain storm is: its overall sturdy construction; its extra light weight; and the water-shedding property of its cover material. This is a full-size umbrella that is big enough for two. Ill add updates to the review as we get more seriously into the rainy season. UPDATE May 2018: Almost two years on and this umbrella has performed as well as promised. Opens quickly. No canopy blowouts. Dries quickly. Structure still intact with no bending, breaking, etc. Definitely a superior product. UPDATE September 2018: My Old Reliable was stolen from a mandatory umbrella rack in a Washington DC museum. I was ticked, but more heartbroken. Can you really love an umbrella? Yeah, its definitely possible. I received my lamented lost one through the Amazon Vine Program at no charge. If you suspect that recipients of free stuff have to write positive reviews of said stuff, let me disabuse you. You dont have to--but I did because the umbrella was so superior to anything at the price point that Id ever seen. So Mr./Ms. Skeptic--listen up. I just got another, identical Totes Auto Open and paid full price. Im thankful that theyre still making the identical product.
