> 3 dayBought July 2021. One arrived broken (one of the arms was not riveted together). I emailed them and they sent me a replacement pair. I put one in my car and used it frequently in the summer/fall as it rains almost daily during those months in my area. Fast forward to April 2022 and I go to use it on a rainy day and the opening/closing mechanism breaks out of the handle when I open the umbrella and it no longer fully opens or closes. The mechanism appears to be made of a brittle plastic and is attached to the bottom of the umbrella with a single screw that goes through a particularly thin part of the mechanism (thats where it broke).

> 3 dayThey meet 5 stars for sturdiness, thickness and value. One star off bc they are not so easy to close. You have to press the button and it’s supposed to close but it doesn’t every time and then you sort of have to man-handle it to get it closed/collapsed. Hope I don’t break them!!

Greater than one weekThese umbrellas are well worth what I paid for them. They are sturdy and very well made..... And you dont get a lifetime warranty on many products these days so that should give you confidence that you are purchasing a quality item. Would definitely recommend.
