> 24 hourThis is an excellent, inexpensive solution for anyone who needs to expand their home wired gigabit network. Low power use, low heat generation, quiet and simple operation.

> 24 hourFrequent disconnects under moderate load. It stays up for regular browsing, but if I stream music I need to reboot the router every thirty minutes or so. Its great in a pinch, when traveling in a hotel, etc. but for anything serious, dont get it. EDIT: Now that we have GigE to the house, the basement one is crashing too. Wishing I hadnt bought a bunch of these; they all crash with heavy UDP traffic at 1000Mb/s.

> 24 hourThis is one of the very few switches I could find that is designed to be put on your desk (in view), facing forward, with the jacks in the back. The other ones I saw were either designed to be hidden away, hung on a wall somewhere, or had the ethernet ports in the FRONT of the switch. None of those others made sense to me, which is why I bought this one. In the few weeks Ive had it I havent had any problems. The front/display of this switch is just little green lights indicating an active connection. Since Ive plugged mine in it has just worked, no problems.

> 24 hourPurchased two of these to replace older hubs. Fantastic product. Well built, simple plug-n-use setup. A clear value especially given the added bonus of power savings.

> 24 hourIt arrived quickly, was easy to set up, and worked like a charm. I use it to split my Ethernet line to my entertainment center between Dish Hopper, Smart TV, and other media boxes that I want to be directly wired rather than wireless to my router.

> 24 hourI have two now and these are a seamless integration to my internet and home networking. I believe that these pass data better than trying to get wireless to all the rooms with strong signal. If you have a home that is networked and you have lets say xbox, PS, computer, video streamer all in one spot; just buy this and plug them into the Ethernet plug that is in the room. Theses are awesome and work great.

> 24 hourIts a Switch. Theres no management, no fancy configurations, just plug in and go. I got this for my Media cabinet to wire up my Media Server, NAS, Xbox, Apple TV, and Plug into my Wifi router across that is a couple rooms away in my home office. It greatly improved the my ability for streaming Video across my home network, and takes off some of the load on my Wifi. Ive had this about a month now and have not complaints.
