Greater than one weekWorked well fro 4 months then stopped after power outage. The modems connected are broadcasting but no internet connecton. Cable modem works.

Duffer.
> 3 dayDuring a severe storm one of the four jacks on the modem failed. The other three jacks work fine but The one that failed is the one that serves my Ooma telephone service and a couple of PCs. By connecting this switch to one of the working jacks all service is back to normal and stayed up until the tech showed up and replaced the modem. Small in size, easy to set up and reasonably priced.

> 3 dayI bought another one of these to replace the same make and model switch that has failed (losing power). To my surprise the brand new switch was having the SAME EXACT problem, the power connector must be in certain position. when you rotate the power connector the units losing power. never again will I buy ANY trendnet device.

Greater than one weekI thought that being a 5 port ment one input and 5 outputs, but it is unmanaged so you just plug the input into one of the ports and it recognizes that and splits it out into the other 4... I only really needed one more at the time so it works for me but just keep in mind it is actually 1 in and 4 out. Other than that it works great, I havent noticed any slower speeds or anything, I do only have 40 Mbps but it seems to be going at that speed

> 3 dayDespite the metal case, this switch does not connect to the shield on shielded Ethernet cable, and so may not be desirable to those who want shielding on their network.
