Ive wanted something like this ever since seeing it used on a cooking show. They didnt fight with their plastic wrap! I was fascinated! The box is well made of heavy duty molded cardboard and feels like it will last a good long time. The cutting strip has a peel&stick adhesive on the back and you just have to stick it on a marked space on the box. Works like a charm. The box is about an inch or so longer than a regular box of wrap. But almost better than the box itself is the quality of the plastic wrap. Over the years Ive tried different brands and havent been 100% satisfied with any. This wrap performs like the kind grocery stores use to package product for sale. Clings like a dream. This roll will last me a very long time, but when its gone Ill be reordering.

I like the way this looks and works. I also like that I dont have to take up space in a kitchen drawer to store my plastic wrap now, and that I can keep it handy on top of my microwave. My only comments would be that I wish it was just a little bigger, and I also think that it would be nice if it came with attachments to stick it onto a surface. The reason I say this, is because you have to hold the roll while dispensing and cutting the plastic wrap. It would be nice if it was hands-free dispensing. I actually have mine sitting on top of my stand-alone microwave, so I stuck some Handi-Tak Reusable Adhesive on the bottom of the Chic Wrap Dispenser, and that solved the issue! The Chic Wrap Dispenser looks nice and cheery too. While I like the one I have, I would have liked more designs to choose from though. I think a different design might have looked better in my kitchen. The lack of design choices, no way to attach it to a surface, and the size are the only reason this didnt get 5 stars - none of these are major issues by any means though.

Everyone hates frustrating Plastic Wrap kitchen woes. This cures most of it. Easy to pull out the plastic wrap over your bowl and cut to size. No more crumpling up of wrap sticking to itself. I have found it fits most of the brands of plastic wrap rolls out there. (Unless something changes since writing this)

This is not awkward like the disposable ones that come with the wrap sold in stores. My husband’s coordination is impaired from a stroke, and this prevents the wrap from tangling. One reviewer said that there are no instructions for attaching the cutter, but mine has them printed on the bottom, and on the top, it has a thin printed outline indicating where the cutter goes. It is the type of cutter that slides inside a track, with the blade safely hidden below the cutting knob. The box is made of heavy cardboard wrapped in glossy paper, much like some storage boxes or hat boxes. It comes with 250 feet of wrap, but I transferred my 11 1/2” x 100’ Saran Wrap roll into it. Inside this dispenser, that roll has about 3/4” of extra room on each end, but that doesn’t cause any problem. In my photo, I included a dollar bill and a clothespin for scale. Including the rubber feet and the cutting knob, the height is 3 1/8”. In length, it is 13 13/16” (just a tad over 13 3/4”) and fits in our small drawer. They sell refills too, but I wish the grocery store brands would offer just rolls, without the flimsy disposable boxes, to save on waste without having to get refills delivered. I also wish these were available in a smaller that just works with the grocery store product.

I received this as a gift many years ago and still use it. Very well made ; looks brand new. I never received saran-wrap as a gift before but that makes it even more special; everytime I use it I think of the person who gave it to me.

Cheery and serves an important purpose. I hated using clear wrap. This makes using clear wrap almost fun or at least enjoyable. AND the container has a pleasant design.

I am super disappointed. They notified me once that the shipment would be delayed. When it got here, it was missing the cutting slider. I have to send it back. I ordinarily buy commercial boxes of plastic wrap and I was excited about getting those big boxes off my counter. So I am really disappointed. I hope they make it right and ship me another right away. Ive been out of plastic wrap for a while waiting for this. If they fail to ship it before I get to a UPS store, Ill REALLY be disappointed. because the wait time sure cant be considered Prime. They are already saying after Christmas. And that really sucks.

I tried this product while visiting my son and daughter-in-law. I cant believe Ive been wrestling with tangled plastic wrap my whole life when this neat product is available. I just pull the wrap out over the dish/plate/bowl I want to wrap and then cut the wrap. No mess, no tangle. Love it. A must for every kitchen. There are several designs to choose from.

I received ChicWrap as a gift from my mother-in-law about five months ago. It has been a life-saver in my kitchen ever since. It has traveled with me to a Fourth of July picnic, a family reunion, a camping trip and two graduation parties. Its safe to say that I use it just about every single day. Covering a container with plastic wrap has NEVER been easier. All you do is set the dispenser on a flat surface (or even in your hand), pull out the amount needed and zip the slicer across the wrap and POOF... its done. No wrinkles... no searching for the end... no peeling on and off... just pull, cover and slide. Its that easy. My mother has severe arthritis, and even she has no problems using ChicWrap! I use it so often that I just purchased 14 for Christmas gifts for my family members, and if they love ChicWrap as much as I do... then next year Ill be purchasing 14 of the aluminum foil ChicWraps.
