> 3 dayI replaced the cheap 18 ga power cord that came with my Chinese hybrid tube amp with this one and it eliminated the interference (the noticeable feedback through the speakers).

> 3 dayI bought this cord to replace a skinny 18 AWG pvc cord for a home Computer. I am running the power supply very near its rating and I noticed the old cord starting to get warm. It was most warm where it plugged into the power supply. It was not hot but definitely warmer that I like for a PC that stays on 24/7. With this hefty but flexible 14 AWG cord, there is no heat along the entire length and the plug at the power supply is cool to the touch; even with the processor and GPU stressed to their limits by both F@H CPU and GPU Clients. If you need to replace a cord, you might as well upgrade while you are at it and go with 14 AWG.

> 3 dayI actually bought this to replace a cord for a bass guitar amplifier. At 14 gauge, it is more than adequate for my application and is much heavier than the typical cord supplied for computer power supplies.
