I bought this cord to replace a skinny 18 AWG pvc cord for a home Computer. I am running the power supply very near its rating and I noticed the old cord starting to get warm. It was most warm where it plugged into the power supply. It was not hot but definitely warmer that I like for a PC that stays on 24/7. With this hefty but flexible 14 AWG cord, there is no heat along the entire length and the plug at the power supply is cool to the touch; even with the processor and GPU stressed to their limits by both F@H CPU and GPU Clients. If you need to replace a cord, you might as well upgrade while you are at it and go with 14 AWG.

Needed to replace the power cord on a tv. This works, doesnt get hot and is long enough.

I got these because the power cord I was using for my PC was tripping the breaker, and I also wanted a longer one. After I got these, the breaker hasnt tripped a single time. They are high quality, highly recommend

I bought this power cord because I misplaced the original cord that came with my home theater projector. Based on the power needs of the prjector, I needed a cord with at least 14 guage wire and 24 inches in length. This cord provided exactly what I needed. The cord appears to be made of high quality materials. It is three prong and accommodates proper grounding. I not only found a cord with the specifications I needed, it was delivered in less than 14 hours from the time I placed my order. As for durability, time will tell but I cant see any reason why this cord shouldnt hold up for many years. I would definitely recommend the product to a friend.

Not much to say. Its a power cord. It delivers 115 volts to your TV or other appliance that uses this type of cord. I like that it is a nice heavy gauge. This should mean it will not get hot under load..

It didnt work with my sons laptop. The cord kept coming out very essily.
