So far so good. Much thicker than standard comp cables. I think they have many lengths. I used it for a rack mount bass cab with high wattage amps and components that came with long thin cables.

I bought this power cord because I misplaced the original cord that came with my home theater projector. Based on the power needs of the prjector, I needed a cord with at least 14 guage wire and 24 inches in length. This cord provided exactly what I needed. The cord appears to be made of high quality materials. It is three prong and accommodates proper grounding. I not only found a cord with the specifications I needed, it was delivered in less than 14 hours from the time I placed my order. As for durability, time will tell but I cant see any reason why this cord shouldnt hold up for many years. I would definitely recommend the product to a friend.

VERY VERY DURABLE AND THICK

I have a Boneco steam humidifier which uses up to 480 watts (approx. 4 amps). I needed a longer cord due to always tripping over the thing and sometimes pulling the cord out of the back. As a licensed electrician, I obsess over things like ampacity and noticed the 18 gauge cord got a little warm. 18 AWG is so small it hardly even charts in the code book, but is commonly used for most appliances. For a continuous draw like a heater (even so small at 4 amps), I wanted something thicker and as direct as possible to the receptacle. This 14 gauge cord is perfect. Not only is it two gauges thicker than 18, but the construction is heavier duty. It plugs into the C13 connector a bit more solidly than the OEM cord. For my application, I have complete faith in leaving this cord running unattended all day.

It is not a standard cable. It did not fit my equipment. No return option.

I needed a cable for my graphics accelerator (pulls a lot of power) and the original one was lost in a move. This cable is higher quality than the one that came with the device originally. I am very happy with both the quality and the delivery time.
