TurboTax Premier Federal + State + eFile 2008 [OLD VERSION]

Easiest way to do taxes in the world. Turbo Tax made it fun. The E filing was supurb. This is my tax method from now on.

It works very well. This 2008 version is alot more user friendly than the previous years.

Intuit has made the tedious task of working through the tax return process relatively painless. I prepared returns for two adults and three children in about a day. This includes federal and multiple state returns as well as some rental property that normally would have required an accountant to understand. The federal and first state software was reasonably priced at Amazon, bt the extra $40 for each additional state was painful.

I shopped all over the internet and at the local stored for this version of Turbo Tax and could not find a better price. The item was sent in a very timely matter and met every expectation. THis was an excellent buy and I plan on buying the same version from the seller next year.

Turbo Tax again does a good job of asking the right questions. you supply the information & the software does the math. The only drawback is the time it takes to download the upgrades. Turbo tax will often ask if you want to upgrade & there is always more to download.

It is everything that I have ever heard. User friendly even for us old folks. Beats getting everything together and visiting a CPA only to have him enter the info. in a similar program

Ive used TurboTax for years and love it. However, the 2008 edition had a changed format which was more difficult to navigate on two schedules. One of the things I like about the program is that it transfers your last years return. That being the case, I dont know why it never questioned me about two sections that I needed to include.

Have used TT for years. Each year the tweeking to market it worsens. Too many versions. Too many gotchas to increase cost. When TaxCut includes broker downloads TT will be in trouble. That is the only reason for not using TaxCut rather than TurboTax. Also, having the availability of a next years planner would be great. There once was provision for forecasting the following years situation. Now, not much help. TurboTax is still good but when competitors improve the aggrevated customers will jump ship quickly.

Ive used TurboTax Premier the past couple years and have been very happy with the products ease of use. This year, all the negative reviews nearly swayed me, but Intuits recent removal of some of the fees and a apparent price-drop (as of early Jan) prompted me to stay with them for now. But Im much more wary with this software and their pricing policies.
