TurboTax Premier Federal + State + eFile 2008 [OLD VERSION]

It performed exactly as advertised, great.

Every year I purchase Turbo Tax, usually from the local Sams or Costco. I am happy with the purchase from Amazon.com and will most likely purchase it from here next year too.

We have used turbo tax for three years now and I just love it. We tried H&R block tax software two years ago and we returned it. Turbo is a better product. We use turbo tax premier and amazon had the best price.

Works well. Program uses a series of question to figure out your needs. Last year, though, it seemed filing directly through the state came up with numbers more in my favor, also, filing is free through the state.

I have used Turbo Tax for years, and will continue to do so. I needed TT Premium for reporting rental property income and expenses, and this handles it very well. Very good product, very logically presented.

Last year was bad enough -- now they increased the price and still charge you for e-files and state taxes etc. Thankfully you can transfer your turbo information to Tax-cut cause that is where I am going this year -- the economy is in the tank and these guys at Intuit say - lets screw the customer even more. Goodbye Intuit!

At the time back versions of this was outrageous. It was a great price & was able to complete my taxes at a great price.

Turbotax is certainly as easy and convenient to use as its reputation suggests, but I seem to have found two errors in its software. I had an annuity that was marked as 100% taxable, as it had been every year, yet TT kept listing the income as tax-free. I tried every way I could think of to get help, but was unable to obtain an answer to my question, so I decided to file by hand, the old fashioned way. I was certainly glad I did. I found California allows a deduction of up to $500 for property taxes, even for taxpayers who take the standard deduction, and TT missed that.

Item arrived in great condition and in a timely manner. I will definately buy from them again.

Much improved over last time I used it - two years ago - with a better interface for asking questions and returning to these questions later. Installed on my two pcs without a problem and worked without a problem; state piece downloaded when needed.
