> 3 dayRecently upgraded the house to a unifi system and I have 1 AP currently. This covers our entire 2500 sq ft ranch house and into the back yard just fine. Very happy with it, blows the consumer grade stuff out of the water for configuration options.

> 3 dayI went from a 4 year old netgear wireless router in my closet in the corner of my house to a Unify 6 LR and a Unify 6 Pro mounted on my ceiling and meshed together. I had better coverage with my linksys. I have 2 bars 10 feet away from either AP. Some devices just straight up wont connect.

> 3 dayVery easy to install and set up. House was prewired with ethernet. Downloaded the app with setup instructions. Greatly improved signal quality in the rooms furthest away from gateway.

> 3 dayGet this access point, NOT the long range! This AP uses a Qualcomm chip. The LR uses mediatek. Qualcomm is the best chipset for WiFi! I was using 2 high end Asus routers, but my WiFi was still having issues. But ever since I got this unifi AP, my WiFi has been ROCK SOLID!

Greater than one weekI bought this to maximize my new Fire Stick which can use Wifi 6. The entire wifi network was significantly improved. It did require me to get a better power supply to fully utilize its capabilities.

> 3 dayI purchased 2 of these directly from the manufacturer (it was cheaper there, too). The install into my ceiling was simple, but the drywall mounts these come with are crappy, I swapped them out with others I had from Home Depot. I dont have an existing Ubiquiti ecosystem to link these up with; Im only using them as standalone wifi access points with my Asus router. I was a bit frustrated when I first tested the speeds on these because I was only getting 80mbps on 5ghz band. Turns out my existing setup only provided PoE and not the PoE+ these need. So, I had to buy some additional hardware to give the access points the power they required and the speeds jumped way up.

Greater than one weekPros // Cheap, reliable, functional. Its Unfi so basic but best near enterprise as you can get. \ Cons: // Still years later beta features have to be disabled to get a true stable connection. Roaming still weak compared to true controller based ap. 80/160 5g channels still buggy as always. \ Overall. Its a Unfi ap cheap reliable and can be left alone for years. Just dont expect huge performance but it will do small office or house hold jobs perfectly fine. Keep the channel width down and keep power below 80% and it will be rock solid.

> 3 dayI have installed 30 of these so far. I love the mounting kit that comes with it- easy to attached to ceiling grids, quick release metal base ring for service. The user interface is nice, installed the Linux-based package in a virtual machine on one of our Linux servers (and the APs continue to run/work even if that goes down, which is great). The signal is strong. It can handle lots of clients at the same time. Well designed and packaged. Good value for what seems to be one of the best in category for covering large areas with WiFi. We set up 4 SSIDs in no time, one of them being public/guest with network isolation AND throttling (very nice). Can even restrict which SSIDs are on which access points and ban or throttle certain clients. Lots of centralized control and data collection/insights. So far, very happy.
