> 3 dayThis access point works great and is a major upgrade from the previous model providing longer distance and more stable connections.

> 3 dayNo problems took approximately 5 minutes to upgrade and add to system. My speeds are 714mb Wi-Fi. A little bigger and 1lb heavier than Unifi pro (older model).

> 3 dayUbiquiti makes good products but the radio on these are really weak. I have 3 across a 3 level 1500 sq-ft townhouse and theres a terrible dead spot at the back corner of the building where I get like 5% throughput. If you have a good single the throughput is very good

> 3 dayWent from a LR to a Pro. Now with upgrading all Apple products we wanted the latest v6 Wi-Fi for the best performance as we depend a lot on Wi-Fi, so the the U6 has been great.

> 3 dayWeve got 3 buildings with Ubiquiti Unifi WiFi devices and have generally always been pleased. Our installations are mostly comprised of AC-Lite and NanoHD UAPs. In our smallest property weve really only got justification for a single UAP that sits about in the middle of a square building. Weve experienced some signal fade in the far corners using AC-Lite or NanoHD so I decided to give this one a try. The Unifi 6 Pro required an update to our Unifi controller; no big deal. Once updated, the adoption process went smoothly as usual. The range improvement is substantial. Weve improved signal to every device in the building, but also have increased effective range to cover the parking lot, break area and even across the street. Im very happy with this UAP and would certainly get another.

> 3 dayI am an IT expert, my main network is all manually managed Mikrotik products including multiple POE switches, >3 access points, and multiple routers. I decided to see what the fuss was about for Ubiquiti and purchased this to setup at a remote location, in order to truly use all of the features you need deploy their controller software to manage the device...perhaps the controller doesnt need to be running 24/7 to operate, but it really is needed to manage or diagnose the network. This is a bit of a bummer and definitely makes this for more advanced users only, at least Mikrotik can be configured 100% of every feature with a web browser, an iOS app, or a Windows based app (that works perfectly in Wine on Mac/Linux). It wouldnt be as bad if you could actually build a full network with Mikrotik and use the controller to manage the firewall/router, and perhaps some day you can...but today most all Ubiquiti hardware isnt even available to purchase unless you pay scalper prices. This AP is WiFi 6, and it does offer some improvement in performance over my very old Mikrotik hardware...but not hardly enough to truly justify the nearly 3X price tag over my WAP AC (RBWAPG-5HACT2HND). I wont be replacing my completely reliable Mikrotik network anytime soon, and the 2nd location has this Unifi 6 Pro paired with a Mikrotik router since Ubiquiti doesnt offer full solutions at any reasonable price point.

> 3 dayGreat speeds, much better than the UAP-AC-PRO. worked right away for unifi software for provisioning and software update.

> 3 dayI have installed 30 of these so far. I love the mounting kit that comes with it- easy to attached to ceiling grids, quick release metal base ring for service. The user interface is nice, installed the Linux-based package in a virtual machine on one of our Linux servers (and the APs continue to run/work even if that goes down, which is great). The signal is strong. It can handle lots of clients at the same time. Well designed and packaged. Good value for what seems to be one of the best in category for covering large areas with WiFi. We set up 4 SSIDs in no time, one of them being public/guest with network isolation AND throttling (very nice). Can even restrict which SSIDs are on which access points and ban or throttle certain clients. Lots of centralized control and data collection/insights. So far, very happy.
