> 3 dayWeve got 3 buildings with Ubiquiti Unifi WiFi devices and have generally always been pleased. Our installations are mostly comprised of AC-Lite and NanoHD UAPs. In our smallest property weve really only got justification for a single UAP that sits about in the middle of a square building. Weve experienced some signal fade in the far corners using AC-Lite or NanoHD so I decided to give this one a try. The Unifi 6 Pro required an update to our Unifi controller; no big deal. Once updated, the adoption process went smoothly as usual. The range improvement is substantial. Weve improved signal to every device in the building, but also have increased effective range to cover the parking lot, break area and even across the street. Im very happy with this UAP and would certainly get another.

> 3 dayI have over 30 wireless devices and this AP dosnt even flinch at it. It runs about 5% CPU while I have all connected and 3 TVs streaming. Range doubled from the AC Pro and I get much faster speeds on my ax (Wi-Fi 6) devices.

> 3 dayThe range of this AP is very poor compared to the OpenMesh A60 that it is replacing in my home. The A60 could cover all rooms of our 2 story wood frame 2000 sq ft home with no issues. I configured the Ubiquiti the same way and it can’t reach one side of the house. I’ll need to find a better replacement.

> 3 dayI went from a 4 year old netgear wireless router in my closet in the corner of my house to a Unify 6 LR and a Unify 6 Pro mounted on my ceiling and meshed together. I had better coverage with my linksys. I have 2 bars 10 feet away from either AP. Some devices just straight up wont connect.

> 3 dayI purchased 2 of these directly from the manufacturer (it was cheaper there, too). The install into my ceiling was simple, but the drywall mounts these come with are crappy, I swapped them out with others I had from Home Depot. I dont have an existing Ubiquiti ecosystem to link these up with; Im only using them as standalone wifi access points with my Asus router. I was a bit frustrated when I first tested the speeds on these because I was only getting 80mbps on 5ghz band. Turns out my existing setup only provided PoE and not the PoE+ these need. So, I had to buy some additional hardware to give the access points the power they required and the speeds jumped way up.

> 3 dayI have been searching for a while for a replacement for my Apple wifi router. They were fantastic product which just work and theses seem to be the same. I cannot be happier. I have them wired to a Dream Machine Pro and though I am a home user these are wonderful. I have 2 to span my ranch home and no more issues. I basically just plugged all it (with some config on their app) and they work really well. I have not tried to use their support as I did not really need them…

Greater than one weekDo not buy this. They do not provide any instructions on how to set this up. In order to set up an Access Point, you at least have to provide a way of accessing the UI for the first time. Ubiquiti does not. You cannot connect to the through its IP from the LAN. Downloading the Ubiquiti app also does not allow you to access the UI following the instructions on Ubiquitis website.

> 3 dayRecently upgraded the house to a unifi system and I have 1 AP currently. This covers our entire 2500 sq ft ranch house and into the back yard just fine. Very happy with it, blows the consumer grade stuff out of the water for configuration options.
