> 3 dayI have over 30 wireless devices and this AP dosnt even flinch at it. It runs about 5% CPU while I have all connected and 3 TVs streaming. Range doubled from the AC Pro and I get much faster speeds on my ax (Wi-Fi 6) devices.

> 3 dayWeve got 3 buildings with Ubiquiti Unifi WiFi devices and have generally always been pleased. Our installations are mostly comprised of AC-Lite and NanoHD UAPs. In our smallest property weve really only got justification for a single UAP that sits about in the middle of a square building. Weve experienced some signal fade in the far corners using AC-Lite or NanoHD so I decided to give this one a try. The Unifi 6 Pro required an update to our Unifi controller; no big deal. Once updated, the adoption process went smoothly as usual. The range improvement is substantial. Weve improved signal to every device in the building, but also have increased effective range to cover the parking lot, break area and even across the street. Im very happy with this UAP and would certainly get another.

> 3 dayGreat speeds, much better than the UAP-AC-PRO. worked right away for unifi software for provisioning and software update.

> 3 dayI hadnt used or been exposed to any Ubiquiti products prior to this, but needed a new Access Point with VLAN capabilities. Was using an Apple Airport prior which just worked flawlessly for years and natively split off main and guest networks via VLAN 1002. When the wifi piece suddenly died, I purchased a top of the line NetGear wifi router costing over double, just to discover I had not VLAN options if in AP only mode. I already have a frewall and router, so needed the AP to work with it, and not replace it. Support for NetGear was atrocious. Took forever to get a straight answer and was pitched an extended warranty multiple times to replace their lame 90 day warranty. Took it back, researched again and stumbled across UniFi. At first I wasnt sure I could use a business grade AP, but the more I read the more convinced I was that UniFi, while maybe not the fastest, would support my application best. I had a bit of a learning curve to deal with regarding the controller, which I didnt realize I also needed. Discovered it can be a product run on virtually any platform, so once I had that figured out, I was off to the races. Plugged in the UniFi after configuring the controller and the AP immediately showed up in the console and imported with ease. Ive been using it for over a month at this point and have nothing but praise. Solid and stable. Initially, I was a bit disappointed with the speeds I was getting as the NetGear was faster. I later discovered exactly why and other brands are pushing numbers to win the speed race, but at the price of stability. I can 100% match and beat the speeds of the NetGear router/AP with this UniFi AP, but would suffer from the same issues. NetGear and others are by default using as wide of bandwidth as they can get to increase speed. Thats actually pretty handy if youre out in the middle of nowhere, but in regular neighborhoods, where others are using their WiFi APs, it creates overlap and conflicts. No AP can go to a safe channel at that point, because the bandwidth is taken up by one or two neighbors. Nice that the UniFi shows you whats around, so you can set up the best signal. All in all, theres not much I dont like about this AP. Definitely worth the cost and a bit more setup effort. Once your controller is up and running, everything Ubiquiti becomes cake to adopt and use. Nicely done!

> 3 dayWhile setup is relatively painless following the app, there are pointless limitations to standalone configuration, and on my unit in particular the 5GHz radio wouldnt transmit at all, despite trying updates to the firmware and other troubleshooting methods. The whole point of the Unifi APs is that they are supposed to be robust yet simple, and yet their manufacturing QA needs work.

> 3 dayI am a fan of Ubiquiti and use a lot of their products. I think they work great and are easily configured with the unifi ap. Great for beginners to learn about advanced networking, easy for advanced users to learn/adapt from previous vendors.
