> 24 hourWas worried these might slip down the steel door I wanted to use them on. No worries - these are serious magnets and you better be sure you want it where you put it because it is extremely hard to get it off - have to slide it to the edge to get under it. The hooks are attractive and I like that they are nicely rounded over. Very happy with these!

> 24 hourI got these to install in one of our bathrooms that has a stackable washer/dryer, so theres not a lot of available wall space. Ive tried using the sticky hooks, but they always end up falling off after a few weeks because the dryer gets so warm. The magnetic robe hooks were the perfect solution for our need. They come in a fairly small box, because you have to assemble each one with two screws. Assembly was pretty easy, and once complete I placed both on the dryer. Wow these things are strong! I tried to move one and really had to work to get it off. Both magnets were shipped in the box together, facing each other but they were smart and placed a round plastic washer between the two so they could be easily separated. Try to put them in the right spot so you dont have to move them. I was able to slide them around to get them just right, but they are super strong! We are very happy to have robe/towel hooks in an area that just didnt work well for the sticky ones. Nice product!

> 24 hourIm only halfway kidding when I say you might be able to hang an anvil on these magnetic marvels. Theyre strong, theyre sturdy, they wont scratch or mar whatever you attach them to, and theyll budge only under the heaviest of loads. Thick, beefy rubber outer surface virtually guarantees your door, refrigerator, or other magnetic surface will remain free from damage. Each rubber puck appears to hold six surprisingly strong magnets within. Fortunately, magnets arent so strong that you cant get them off whatever youve attached them to if need be. Be careful attaching these anywhere near computer equipment, as they might wreak major damage to hard drives and other storage media. Sturdy aluminum hooks have a brushed nickel finished and look great, especially on a stainless-steel surface. Hooks are well built, and I would not expect them to break under normal load. Yes, you do need to assemble them, but it takes nothing more than a Philips screwdriver and less than five minutes of your time. I am disabled and have limited use of my hands, yet I had no trouble assembling them without help. Coming in at over $10 bucks per hook at time of review, they are on the pricey side, but in my opinion, youll get what you paid for.

> 24 hourOnce we attached the hook to the magnet I applied it in a storage locker. Wanting to move it to another wall I pulled on the hook and used a sparkle knife to try to lift it off the wall. Good luck. I pulled so hard the hook broke off the magnet. Now the magnet is still stuck to the wall and useless.

> 24 hourThese are good strong coat hooks. They look just like the picture. They have a brushed nickel finish. The edges of the metal are all finished well, and smooth. The magnet is coated with rubber to prevent damage to the surface you stick it on. You need to screw the hooks to the magnets when they arrive. It is a little difficult. You have to push hard to screw them together because the screws are a little short. I had to have my husband do it. Once assembled though, they are nice and strong. I definitely recommend them. They hold quite a bit of weight.

> 24 hourThe 2 pack coat magnet arrived well packaged, on time and free of defects. Minor assembly required to attach the coat hook to the magnet. Once attached, magnet hook attached to metal surface. Very strong, and works as advertised. Good choice for hanging coats or anything else to metal surface.

> 24 hourThese were much better made than I expected! The base is a solid magnetic foot that is sleeved in rubber to protect whatever surface you are sticking it to. The hook is made of aluminum and screws into the base securely. The finish on the hook and exposed side of the base is excellent. The hook and base attach very well (tested on refrigerator and stand-along freezer); you can still remove them fairly easily, but they dont seem to move once mounted with what I have hung on it so far. That includes a 16oz claw hammer, 2lb hammer, fairly thick jacket, and a bath towel. I was going to hang dog leashes on them, so that will be no problem at all, but they can hold heavier items as well. Very nice hooks if you have a metal surface to hang them on!

> 24 hourThese are awesome magnetic hooks. They are a nice soft rubber around the magnet so they do not mark the surface you are putting them on. Extremely strong… these aren’t going anywhere. I started with them for our coats higher on the door and the little one decided they were hers after about 5 minutes lol. I also have metal garage cabinets which these would work great on. Highly recommend if you are looking for strong magnetic Hooks !

> 24 hourThis is exactly what it looks like....a magnetic coat hook. It is strong and holds multiple coats, etc. Easy to move.

> 24 hourThey simply work, and work well. The base magnets are quite strong with a rubberized texture. The two-pronged hooks are smooth and polished - no edges to damage material. The set arrives in a small box with all pieces individually wrapped. Need a Phillips head screwdriver to use the provided screws to attach the hooks to the magnetic bases. The magnets are strong enough that sliding them on metal is difficult, but with the hooks attached, they provide leverage that make them easy to remove. We placed one on the back of the main door for jackets, and was pleased to find the hook is shallow enough that when the door is fully opened and hits the std-sized spring doorstop, the hook does not hit the wall. Only concern is the price - $25 seems a little high, but it is a good quality product that works.
