07-06-2025These bags are very sturdy and durable just hard to tie without using the ties that come in the box

Greater than one weekI love contractor grade trash bags: never any worry they will rip apart no matter what you put in them. The only negative to these is they have no tabs or flaps to tie them closed so you have to leave enough room to be able to crush the contents and tie the corners together. Not a deal breaker but would be nice to have. The ones I got from Home Depot had these flaps.

> 3 dayEvery seam in the box was broken. I had to tape it up before I could put it on the shelf, have used this brand before and the bags are good, just looked like it had been thrown from the top of a building, no way of knowing if any were lost.

> 3 dayI own a junk removal business and I was looking for some thicker contractor bags . I decided on trying these bags. Well unlike other contractor bags that Ive tried these bags do not tie well. I just need to let people know that the bags are great they just dont have a tie flap at the top. The best way to close them is to use duck tape across the open part or only fill them half way to have enough bag to tie a knot that will not get tight enough to stay closed.

Greater than one weekThick snd strong but smell like they were in a fire. Fortunately the garbage can doesn’t care. I gave them 4 stars because they don’t come with the extended corners to tie the bag closed. They do come with wire ties.

Im guessing they fixed what ever got them the bad reviews in the past because they are great now!! I use em for clothes to yard debris to alot between!! I can fill em up at they take a beating and survive alot!! I reuse some when I can too!!! Ill pay the price easy for the quality and quantity they have!! > 3 dayThese are good bags. Very thick and sturdy and much better suited to large waste removal than other contractor bags Ive used. Theyll obviously still puncture and what not, but they arent going to rip apart or anything like that. The only problem with mine were that the inside of every bag (that Ive used so far) smells like an ash tray. Like baaad. Like I had COVID and couldnt smell anything but could still smell the bags, bad. Not really a problem if you are only getting rid of trash. And probably just something (but WHAT?!?!) that happened to my batch in particular. However, they couldnt be used to store anything that I want to keep.

Greater than one weekI spent a lot of time comparing price/MIL/gallon size. The price was right for 50, so I bought these. Assumed they were what the photo showed -- self-tying. They just arrived and seem as heavy-weight as the ones Id just used up. But very disappointed they are not self-tying, as the photo implies. Had to scroll waaay down on the page just now to see they have twist-ties. And they are just cheap white standard ties in a strip -- longer than bread ties, but no stronger/wider. Cant imagine they would keep a heavy bag closed well. They need to fix the photo and put this info up front. Will take years to use up, but prefer Id have 50 self-tying ones! I might try cutting some of them to create the self-ties. Wish I still had one of my old ones, for a pattern. UPDATE- OK -- I see in the top description they say with ties but I didnt pay attention to that because I saw the picture - and assumed it was built-in ties. My bad. But be warned if you wanted that kind!
