I received my box of bags and they are quite robust. I have used several of them and they come with a twisty tie which I tossed away and replaced with string and zip ties instead. The bags seem free of oil and any residue but there is a very prominent odor which to me is rather odiferous and too much for me to handle. I have a pretty good sniffer so i can only use these outside. However, they handle well to some good packing of whatever i throw in them. Good bags, wish they had tie ends or longer twisty ties but I have better options. Really wish the smell was not there.

In my line of work, I need dependable heavy duty bags that wont rip, tear and not be easy to tie shut. This brand checks all of my requirements and are the only ones that I will use on a job. They have never failed me in the 3 years sine Ive opened my business. Worth every penny. Highly recommended - the only choice.

I like these bags because they are so sturdy. I can dump in broken glass or other sharp items without worry that they will poke through. Also it’s tough enough the dogs or other critters don’t tear into it when it’s outside for the garbage. I can drag it over rough ground and rocks and have never had a bag tear. Perfect for me living out in the country where bears like to get in my trash.

Once upon a time the words contractor bags meant something. It meant they could handle weight and sharp odds and ends such as dry wall pieces and bits of scrap wood. For the last 10 years or so any of the so-called contractor bags you pick up at a big box store have been no different from your garden variety Glad trash bags, so I decided to purchase these off of Amazon because I wanted a specific millimeter thickness. These definitely delivered. Never had an issue and the box lasted almost an entire year.

I like that they are 3 mil thick - perfect for our trash. But I would have liked them better if they had flaps that I could tie. The twists are harder to use with 3 mil bags.
