> 3 dayThis was a congratulations gift for friends who just announced they are expecting. She was a chemistry major in college so it was perfect. Most of our friend group are all engineers of some sort or another. So she cried that someone remembered her major! Probably the pregnancy hormones taking over there ;) Needless to say, she loved it! The colors are bold are wonderful and suitable for a boy or a girl. They are a bright tangerine orange, lime green, kind of a wine pink/magenta and a deep purple color. The package even points out that the inks are mouth safe for little ones :)

> 3 dayI bought this for my son-in-law who is a chemical engineer and a new Dad. They fit the purpose as a gag gift, but I think they are too expensive.

Greater than one weekThese were a present for my 14 month old nephew, whose parents do science stuff. He enjoys them, and they are pretty cute. The blocks are the same size as other Uncle Goose blocks - I also bought the nursery rhyme ones - so once he gets a little better at building, hell be able to combine them to make larger structures. They are well-made, the colors are nice, and I appreciate that they are made in the US and dont have any weird chemicals, so we dont have to worry about the kid or the dogs gnawing on them. They seem pretty sturdy, and havent gotten too scuffed up despite a couple of months of being in the active toy rotation, with a toddler who enjoys using them to stack, knock down, throw, chew on, etc.
