> 3 dayPretty decent blocks for the young mad scientist. Our resident mad scientist was disappointed that the uranium block did not evidence radioactive decay although the radium block was hot, or that the sodium or phosphorus block when thrown into the tub only floated.

Greater than one weekAbsolutely love these blocks and so does my niece. Great quality, great colors. They are a tad bit splintery, so be careful. Overall highly recommended!

> 3 dayGreat wooden blocks, giving this to a 1 year old....well it doesnt matter, he loves them, maybe someday when he understands the periodic table, I will be able to take all the credit.

> 3 dayThese blocks are clever. I bought them because my husband (the grandpa) is a chemist. But the corners were very pointed and the edges were sharper than I liked. Maybe for a two year old? I dont know that a two year old would be interested in blocks. But I dont think they are a good choice for nine month old.

> 3 dayEveryone said it is the perfect gift from someone who loves science and wants to give a science-y gift. Perfect for a science teacher as well, was told that they can be something to put around a classroom to get middle school aged children to talk about the elements.

22-11-2024These blocks are well made and feel like quality blocks, and you can teach your little one about the periodic table. What more could a science-loving family want?

> 3 dayThese were a present for my 14 month old nephew, whose parents do science stuff. He enjoys them, and they are pretty cute. The blocks are the same size as other Uncle Goose blocks - I also bought the nursery rhyme ones - so once he gets a little better at building, hell be able to combine them to make larger structures. They are well-made, the colors are nice, and I appreciate that they are made in the US and dont have any weird chemicals, so we dont have to worry about the kid or the dogs gnawing on them. They seem pretty sturdy, and havent gotten too scuffed up despite a couple of months of being in the active toy rotation, with a toddler who enjoys using them to stack, knock down, throw, chew on, etc.
